I've been in that situation and there is really nothing you can do about it. There are things you can do to try to reduce the blemishes and get rid of acne/pimples temporarily but you will always be finding yourself cleaning your face or your body depending on where it's at.

I mean of course your acne should go away eventually but for some this is the case their whole life.

I'm 29 years old and have been suffering from these little pests since I was a teenager. I tried all sorts of face washes from the local grocery store and what not, but nothing seemed to work. If anything it would just make my skin dry and itchy.

Literally the best acne face wash I've ever used has been this stuff called clearpores. It has got rid of the acne to quickest and has been a success ever since I got it. It's unique cause of it's herbal supplement you take a long with it that helps your skin from the inside out. I saved money on it at skincleansingsystem dot com at the time which was helpful.

You should really look into this stuff and if you can to assure the best results, get the 3 month supply because if it doesn't work it will still save you butt on the return policy.

Well good luck and best wishes.Hi all!!! I really need acne product which is good at blackheads and acne. I dont want high price. PLs help me?
baking soda works as a great exfoliator when mixed with a little water.

and it comes as cheap as about 50 cents.

but on the side, use a face wash that suits you.

read the labels and find something that matches your skin type.

What is a really good, inexpensive way to get rid of blackheads?

I wear glasses (I don't know if this is a factor), and I have blackheads on my nose. I've tried a blackhead cream cleanser, and it made my blackheads appear small but did not get rid of them. I find them so irritating to look at. Can anyone tell me the most effective way to get rid of them once and for all? I've also tried other acne-free/anti-acne products, but I didn't see a dramatic improvement in results.What is a really good, inexpensive way to get rid of blackheads?
the netrogena black head eraser.. it works great on them

and is not that expensive. I used to have them on my chin and

nose but once I got the eraser they have disappeared!What is a really good, inexpensive way to get rid of blackheads?
What I do is that I turn on the shower really hot, comfortably, and I wash my face for like fives minutes, take a shower blah blah blah. And then when I get out, the blackheads are really soft and therefore easy to remove. Blackheads are just clogged oils, so just squeeze them out. Also stay in a really humid area for a while to open up your pores...

What is the best treatment/product for my frequent ance and blackheads on my face, shoulders and back?

I have done the following already:

- seen 2 doctors and took monocycline pills and used lotion in a tube ( did not work)

- I have done 2 Lazer treatments ( stoped my acne for 3 days and started reapearing )

- Tried tanning to burn the acne ( works ok, but not efficient )

- Proactive Set (doesnt work)

- Many Scrubs (burned my skin

- More showers and less showers ( my skin gets dry when i mess around in the shower too much and the amount of showers i take doesnt seem to make a difference )

I am white, i dont eat bad food and i am clean. I think i need a really good strong product for this. Does anybody know anythin that will most likely work? I don't want anything that could give me side or after effects. I will pay the money for something that will work but it also has to be safe.What is the best treatment/product for my frequent ance and blackheads on my face, shoulders and back?
It most certainly could have something to do with the atmosphere/climate change! After moving inland- form the East coast in the states, my skin dried up and i felt like a raisin! Then again, you said you have had acne for seven years? If you moved seven years ago, I dont think its likely your skin is still adjusting, I think, you unfortunantly just have skin problems.

The MOST EFFECTIVE way to permanently get rid of acne is to take an antibiotic. Acne is a staff infection of the skin. And your skin- being your largest organ, will take a looong time to recover from the acne. (im talking maybe a year or more) You said you tried monocylcine, this would have been a medication I am reffering to. Maybe you didnt take it long enough? (you must have seen some improvement in the time you used it?) The medicine of course,can be very problematic with sun exposure, Urinary infections etc.

I am sorry to dissapoint you, but if that didnt work, I reccomend using neosporin for recent acne spots, to minimalize scars. I also recomend finding a good toner. A good toner will balance the ph of your skin, which should help it relaxe some.

I am a huge fan of dermalogica- this in particular is the best product Ive ever used --%26gt; http://www4.shopping.com/xPC-Dermalogica鈥?/a>

Not sure about the humidity but it could be a factor. This sounds way silly but I used to get HUGE red zits on the side of my face and my grandma used windex on them and they would decrease in size. After they got smaller she used white vinegar and they would go away without scarring. To get the blackheads out of your face, try getting a pore cleansing facial. They work pretty good. Hope I helped

  • No matter how much I wash my face, I still have blackheads.?

    I feel like putting a bag over my head. What can I do?No matter how much I wash my face, I still have blackheads.?
    try using those facial pore strips that you stick on the problem area and pull it off...or get a good facial mask that you apply on your entire face and peel off...plus thats fun.No matter how much I wash my face, I still have blackheads.?
    Go for facial regularly
    Unfortunately, you can't wash blackheads away because they aren't dirt. (They're plugs of dried sebum, dead skin cells, and debris that clog your skin's pores.) To combat these blemishes, wash your face with mild soap twice aday, then apply a benzoyl peroxide product (Iwould suggest Clearasil creams, Oxy lotions, and Fostexgels
    You can either get a poor extracting facial where they use this small tool to squeeze them out or you could just buy your own.. they normally have them a sally beauty supply. Be careful not to force them out too hard though, you may damage your skin. You will have redness on your face though for about two days afterwards. After you do that i recommend washing with St. Ives medicated apricot scrub to exfoilate.
    Yes listen to these people on here, go for a facisl daily at a local salon nearby you and buy St. Ives Apricot Scrub, its meant for blackheads and use it. But if you can find a mask instead of scrub, that would be even better. Mask are more effective than scrubs [read that in magazine] but u can still use a scrub, i'm sure it'll work just the same
    Steam your face once a week for 3 to 4 minutes to open up the pores. Use a home made face scrub using the white of an egg and a little salt.More cheap and natural remedies for black and white heads at the link below.

    use basen and milk.
    A good facial and steaming will help u.

    Cleanse your face

    Take a towel and run it under hot water tap for 5 minutes,then keep this steaming towel on black head area of ur face then after five minutes gently remove black heads with a tweaser .
    Try and go for a facial, they remove the black heads, if you dont have the money...

    try buying a cleanser or scrub especially for blackheads. Steam your face alot too it opens pores making them easier to clean.

    Also you can buy a blackhead extactor, they are like $10-15. Tweezerman makes one. You just gotta do it properly.
    i get really bad blackheads too. So try a good facial exfoliater with tea tree oil too make your skin look clearer and feel refreshed
    do a facial scrub nad get a scrub clenser to wash youyr face with especially for blackheads
    i have tha same prob.

    What homemade recipes can I use to get rid of my blackheads in a couple of days?

    Hey, I'm 12 years old and I have about 3 blackheads on my nose. They are black, and have been there for a couple of months. Well one of them has been there since I was ten. Well, anyway Spring Picture Day is coming up [next week], and they will not be offering retouching. These blackheads are very noticable, and I don't feel comfortable or confident with them. How can I get rid up them very quickly, like in a few days, without buying anything like proactive or neutrogina? I want to get rid of them naturally. HELP ME PLEASE!What homemade recipes can I use to get rid of my blackheads in a couple of days?
    Hi here are some of home remedies which I tried to get rid of black heads.

    2. Mix fresh limejuice with milk and apply

    3. Mix lime juice and rosewater in equal proportions and apply.wash after 20 min.

    4.Make a paste of turmeric powder with mint juice and apply over your face.What homemade recipes can I use to get rid of my blackheads in a couple of days?
    blackheads are easily removed by squeezing them and then rubbing the area with a mixture of witch hazel and rubbing alcohol to sterilize the infected pore.

    I have an question about acne (i have acne,zits and blackheads)?

    i have tried netruagena advanced solutions (idk how 2 spell it),netruagena deep clean,equate spot treatment,clean and clear blackhead pads,clean and clear advantage kit,and oxy pads,nothing has worked and it keeps getting worse and my mom wont spend any more money on products,so i cant go to a doctor and get something or a dermatologist,i want clear skin on my face by the time school starts(august 18 which means i only have 7 weeks starting this Monday) any suggestions?thank you sssssssssssooooooooooooooooo muchI have an question about acne (i have acne,zits and blackheads)?
    ok, so you say your mom won't spend more money on this, right?

    star a routing with some of the products you already have....

    1. in the morning: boil water and do a spa facial saunas (place the towel over the back of your head, covering both you and the bowl. Allow the steam to bathe your face, open you pores and cleanse the skin for 10 minutes). Take advantages that your pores are open to press blackhealds, never with your nails but with a clean towel.

    2. once your pores are open use your clean and clear blackhead pads, use your first step acne kit (either Neutragena advance solution or clean %26amp; clear advantage kit) first step - cleanser - use cold water, I usually keep a bottle of tap water in my refrigerator and use it that cold, it will close your pores.

    3. after skin is clean %26amp; pores are close, use your acne control lotion (from either kit). Re: the moisturizing lotions, I would just use a thin layer, so skin doesn't dry out, but no more than that.

    At night, I would do the same routine and use the spot treatment for particulars zits. Leave them undisturbed, do not pop them or press them.I have an question about acne (i have acne,zits and blackheads)?
    Hello, I'm a doctor. Use accutane. I think that you want to get more info about it. Please go to ----%26gt; http://nurse7.notlong.com/8AATCea
    Are you a girl? If so try Ortho-Tri Cyclen, it's clinically proven to help with acne. It's a birth control pill, and you can get it for free if you qualify for the program. Go to your local planned parenthood.

    If you are a guy, there is really nothing that those topical solutions will do for you, I have acne, and the over-the-counter stuff doesn't work for me either. I would try taking Murad Pure Skin Dietary Supplement, which is basically like vitamins for your skin that help it fight acne internally. My cousin, who has acne just as bad as I do, has been on that for a few months, and his skin improved dramatically. I personally am taking a combo of birth control pills and Tazorac (a prescription-only topical medication) for my severe acne. It works for me. But the Murad may work for you. If you save up enough money you can buy it online and have it shipped to you.

    Is it possible for the lump left on my boob from blackheads cancerous?

    I noticed that my left boob had a blackhead coming out of it so I pinched it out. It was fine after that until like a few days later my boob formed this tiny lump where the blackhead used to be. The lump is kind of hard and somewhat close to the nipple but not really. I don't know what this lump is and I already told my dad and he thinks it is cancerous so now I'm afraid. Did this lump form because of my blackhead considering that the hole it came out from got infected? Will it go away eventually on its own?Is it possible for the lump left on my boob from blackheads cancerous?
    its just another blackhead, whitehead or pimple

    as for your dad SHAME on him to say its cancer and frighten you like that

    have a hot shower or hot bath making sure your breast is covered in the water and have a soak for about 20 minutes this will soften your skin and also open your pores

    now try and squeeze the spot and i bet more puss comes out, if not repeat the bathing for another 2-3 days this will push the spot out and it should eventually either fade or come out itself/with a good squeeze from you

    if after a week (at the most) you still have a lump there and bathing it doesn't go and see the doctor to let them have a look

    it is highly unlikely to be a tumor but let them have a look and let them diagnose it for you

    i bet it is a spot and will go away by itself or with my adviceIs it possible for the lump left on my boob from blackheads cancerous?
    I haven't heard of cancer coming from a blackhead or vice versa, but it might have formed a small abscess or cyst. Only one way to find out - see the doctor!

  • I don't have ';acne'; but I have a few pimples/blackheads?

    I have really good skin, I just have a patch under my chin of black heads and white heads and the same thing on my forehead-- what do I do about it--

    I think that weird techniques like lemon juice and toothpaste are good things, tell me weird things like that to do.

    Otherwise could you give me specific names of products that worked for you.

    Make sure the only people that answer are the ones who think they have skin like mine.

    I want it all to clear up, not ';come back'; how do I make it be gone forever with my skin type?

    Thank you =DI don't have ';acne'; but I have a few pimples/blackheads?
    Make sure you are not pinching and squeezing the pimples or blackheads. Cut down on the oily foods that you eat like hamburgers, french fries, avocadoes, etc. Wash your face with good clean water three or more times a day. Acne is pimples and blackheads no matter how many you have. When I was a teen I use to use neutragena soap and I would use noxema skin cream before I went to bed. I have heard toothpaste works for pimples but I never tried it. The best thing to do is just watch what you eat and keep your skin clean.I don't have ';acne'; but I have a few pimples/blackheads?
    i have one tested formula which nobody believes and i dont know it will work on you or not but it has worked on me .wash your face with baby Johnson soap and use baby Johnson oil and see the pimple and black heads vanishing in fifteen days.
    use proactiv twice a day, early in the morning and when you go to bed. make sure you monitor your diet with foods that you know will break you out. and keep your hands off your face. good luck :)
    oily food
    Acne can be embarrassing at the best of times. I would try going into a site called Epinions.com and find out what users are saying about various products. Good hygene which involves regular bathing helps a lot. Good internal health is a major contributor to healthy skin. Try and stay away from the junk foods. I鈥檝e also had good luck with a product called Acnezine. Good luck:%26gt;:%26gt;

    How can i close my open pores and get rid of blackheads?

    ok so i am 14 year old i know that at that age you may or not get a lot of acne or blackheads.i have open pores and blackhead and i just want too find out away that i can close my big pores and get rid of my blackheads.iv tryed pretty much ever thing iv espelly proavite that does not work it just make my face even more oily.and im even trying a cleanser if anyone has any tips or something that u think can help please tell.How can i close my open pores and get rid of blackheads?
    If you are overcleansing your face (for most people that's twice a day, but if you're cleansing more than 2x then you're definitely overdoing it) then you're actually telling your skin to produce more oil. If you stimulate any sebum-producing gland, it... produces sebum. Some of your problem may be right there.

    Also chemical treatments like salicylic acid are TOUGH on skin - for some people that's what they need, but drying chemicals may be all wrong for you. Also, try cleansing and using toner AT NIGHT before bed to get rid of the beating your skin takes during the day, and freshen with a toner made for oily skin in the morning instead of using the cleanser. Avoid alcohol-based toners, as they're very harsh - try something with tea tree in it, as tea tree is great on oily skin and also antiseptic.

    If you want to try a more holistic approach, try masks that contain lots of rassoul mud (incredibly deep cleansing, excellent on blackheads), fresh green grapes or garlic for powerful astringents, and lavender as an excellent sebum balancer. I don't know about generic over the counter stuff, but Lush (brit cosmetic company) sells amazing fresh face masks that can really do the trick.How can i close my open pores and get rid of blackheads?
    Acne is something that just comes with adolescence. Just do your best to lower your oil output on your face. Don't go overboard, though. What I did was use Cetaphil facewash to remove the oil twice a day. You could go to a dermatologist to get a prescription for some medication. Eat well, maintain a minimal-stress life, and just take care of your skin. It'll go away with time. If you live in a humid environment, then you'll be in a bit of trouble.

    If you have severe acne, don't take the sauna approach to try to fix it. It really doesn't help. Dermatologists don't like you doing that.
    Fill a sink with boiling water and stick your head over it's surface (careful not to get too close) and put a towel over it to keep the steam in. This will expose you to hot steam which in turn opens your pours. Keep yourself exposed to this for 8-10 minutes. Then after wipe away the excess, or squeeze it out. Do this every other day for clean, healthy skin.
    See a specialized skin doctor also

    known as a dermatologist.

    (1) on my own.

    (2) cheap - i dont want to buy a closet full of products

    (3) effective - i have a feeling there are about a hundred methods out there - please give me one that works...

    (bonus) how should i care for my skin in the future so that they do not come back?

    steam your face either in the shower or over a pot of boiling water to open your pores. squeeze like hell. you can where some latex gloves to reduce the chance of scarring. clean your face with an astringent like sea breeze, a good cleanser, and follow up with a exfoliator for the dead skin. you can also use a mud or mint mask to tighten your pores. you should really wash your face 3xs/ day with a good cleanser cetaphil is generally good for all skin types, and it will help reduce the blackheads.What is the best, easiest (and cheapest) way to remove nasty blackheads for men?

    exfoliate, make sure it is for face for your nose. the drug stores are full of skin care products. One is oil of olay. Make sure if you have blackheads anywhere else, you get a different one for your body. It might be referred to as microderm abrasion or exfoliators.
    Try these:

    Directions: ';Remove strip from pouch. Before using nose strips, twist strip to loosen and separate slits featured on nose strips only.

    After washing your face, thoroughly wet your nose or other face areas (where you have clogged pores or blackheads). The strip won't stick if skin is dry.

    Dry hands. Peel strip off plastic liner. Apply to skin, smooth side down, pressing down to ensure good contact with skin.

    Let dry for about 10-15 minutes until stiff to the touch - like papier-m芒ch茅.

    Slowly and carefully peel off starting at edges, pulling toward center.';

    I had the same problem. I used to work at a high school and one of the student's noticed my blackheads in my t-zones and on both sides of my nose. She told me that I should get some Biore face strips.

    Biore Face Strips are amazing after one application the black heads will come out.
    The very best product I have found is Clearasil ULTRA daily fase wash !

    After you wash your face, use a cotton ball and apply witch hazel on you face as an astringent. It is very inexpensive and works great !

    Also, try to stay away from fried fatty foods.

    Clearasil ULTRA is guaranteed to give you clearer skin in just 3 days and it certainly works for all my teens and myself.

    What's the best stuff to use to get rid of blackheads?

    I've never had a big problem with acne. I don't have pimples very often, and when I do get them it's only like one or 2 at a time and they're never in the same spot as eachother. I pop them and they go away and that's that. But I'm really starting to have an issue with blackheads. I have them on my nose, my chin and sometimes on my forehead. They're not like massive huge ones that make it seem like I have dirt spots all over... and they're actually not noticeable unless your staring RIGHT smack at me and actually looking for them, but they still annoy me and I want them gone. So what's the best stuff to buy to make them go away and stay away? It'd be better if they stuff wasn't overly high priced *5-7 dollars or lower would be pretty good*. So what would you guys suggest? Is there anything I could get at somewhere like wal-mart or k-mart?What's the best stuff to use to get rid of blackheads?
    Use this **** biore makes u put it on its like pad then u take it off and gets alot of the dirt off. if that doesnt use stridex its a gray jar with a purple top its circular. use the pads let it dry then use the creme. that should workWhat's the best stuff to use to get rid of blackheads?
    I personally like the Biore strips because it rips them right out. To maximize this effect I first cleanse with any cleanser (you can get inexpensive ones at Walmart such as the Equate version of Spectro Jel). Then I put on a cleansing face mask for 20 minutes (can also get inexpensive ones at walmart such as freeman's). After removing the face mask I exfoliate the blackhead area (you can use an inexpensive exfoliator from walmart or just mix a little bit of honey and sugar together like I do). After use the strip as describes and all of your blackheads should be gone :) A lot of work but worth it!

    Honey Paste-Another easy and effective homemade acne treatment is to make a paste of honey with cinnamon and nutmeg. All you need is about one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and about half of it nutmeg powder. Add some honey to make enough paste to cover the inflammed area completely. Just lie down as honey may dribble down. Wait for 10 to 15 minutes and wash with luke warm water.

    Orange peel-Homemade Acne Treatment using Orange peel has been found very effective. Pound the orange peel with water on a piece of stone and apply to acne affected areas.

    Basil tea-Basil tea like neem is effective in killing bacteria. Drinking it twice a day can do wonders to the skin.

    Coconut Oil-Coconut oil is a cheap and easily available acne solution. Regular use of coconut oil over a period of time helps to clear your skin.

    Lemon Juice-A simple remedy at home for acne: Apply lemon juice regularly to reduce pimples and acne. This has proven beneficial results.

    Well,these are the remedies that work gentle on your skin while getting rid of acne.Hope this helps and great skin wishesI have horribly stubborn pimples on my forehead and very stubborn blackheads on my cheeks and chin.?
    I don't know much about home remedies. Some of my roommates use aspirin mask and tea tree oil to heal their zits.

    Buy a product containing BHA or benzoyl peroxide and use it on the problematic areas on your face. It would be best to avoid things like fragrance and alcohol as they are very irritating and could make things worse. Please also avoid heavy facial creams as they tend to clog pores.

    Another thing, you shouldn't use scrubs on inflamed bumps. They're gonna make them even more inflamed.
    I tried Proactive and Murad. Now I use ';Mary Kay Acne Treatment Gel'; and Epson Salt. Put half a tablespoon of the Salt in 1/4 inch of a glass of water. Dissolve it and drink that every morning before breakfast. It tastes bad, but it help. That cleanse your body of impurities. Tell him to don't put too much water because he have to drink it ok? It really works. The salt you can buy it at Wal-Mart for $1 or $2.

    Good luck
    I'm not sure if it's available in your country, but there's this product call Biore strips that are great for black heads. It's an adhesive strip you put on your skin and when it dries, you pull it off and it will pull out any black heads it was applied to. It works great, I use them all the time.
    Just don't touch them unnecessarily.Use garnier's pimple reducing pen.It works great.And dont use soap for your face.Use face wash instead.I know its hard to avoid oily food if you like it,but still try and avoid it.
    Clay masks used regularly helps pull out trapped oil and dead skin.Check out http://useinfo-blackhead.blogspot.com/ for more useful tips to control blackheads.

    Desperately trying to clear my pores and get rid of blackheads, anything left undone?

    I have really ugly skin, and no matter what I cannot rid my skin of blackheads. I am fine with an occasional pimple, in fact pimples are the least of my worries. Under my eyes, my nose, and my forehead are havens for blackheads, and no matter what I cannot get rid of them.

    I've tried:

    Manual Extractions

    Galvanic Facials

    Proactiv/AcneFree

    Oxy Anti-Acne Pads

    Benzoyl Peroxide Creams

    Tazorac

    Warm Honey

    I know I can look wonderful if I can get rid of this one problem, as nothing else about me is severely flawed, but I am out of ideas, and my skin has practically ruined any sense of self-esteem in me. I'm sick of it being like this! All I want is to remove my blackheads, and hide my deep pores, is there anything left to attempt?

    I have had acne before but it was not so serious. (I dont mean to offend)

    What I did was Drink Water. (I know its like ';I need something good'; but wait)

    I didn't just drink a glass. I drank a lot of water. And I mean A LOT!

    So just pick a day where you home stuck doing nothing, because you gonna pee A LOT!

    Drink glass after glass after glass or until you cant seriously take another drop of water.

    That will wash away all the toxins and junk that causes it.

    Then after you are not full of water DRINK AGAIN.

    It really helped me. And after a while you can actually drink a lot more whater than you did before so drink drink drink.

    And well I see that the only problem is you forehead. Your cheeks are not that bad, i dont really seee bumps but redness, and the water will help.

    Also try Vick's Vapor rub.

    Put on your pimples.

    It also helped me.

    How long have you been struggling with acne?

    Good luck.Desperately trying to clear my pores and get rid of blackheads, anything left undone?
    Ok I would reccomend taking a shower, and the heat from your shower will open up your pores as soon as you get out wash your face. So the cleanser will clean deep down in your pores and rinse with cold water to close them so it will keep dirt from going deep down in your pores to cause more blackheads. And I think clean and clear has came out with a black head eraser.Im not sure if it works tho. Hope I helped Good luck! =)

They look awful and i think people think im ugly because of them! Can anyone help?? I dont have any money and i dont have no wierd ingredients like aloe vera! Any simple Home Remedies?? I don't know any remedies but if you want an effective cheap product you should use the blackhead cleanser by Noxzema.Im Trying To Get A Boyfriend, But My Spots and Blackheads are Knocking My Confience. How can I Get Rid Of Them?
    Make sure, if you're female, that you aren't using a foundation with heavy, unnatural oils in it.

    Use face powder instead. Steaming your face over a freshly boiled pot of water and then using a toner helps too. Don't get too close to burn your face tho.....
    If you have any coffee grinds it works. What I did was cleansing my face with mild soap. Then use the coffee grinds and scrub it gently then wash it off and tap dry your face.

    Can someone suggest a certain facial or peel for severe blackheads?

    I've got pretty bad, deep blackheads on my nose, around my nose and on my chin. The pore strips don't work, or lemon juice, or eggs, or blackhead scrubs. I take really good care of my skin and when I wear makeup, it's only for a few hours and it always comes right off after. I've never had a facial or anything before. I live near a bigger city so I'm sure I could get a decent price somewhere. I HAVE to do something--they are so deep in my skin, squeezing doesn't help, and there's a lot of them. Is there a certain facial or peel I could get to get them out?? Would a pore minimizer help? Any help appreciated.Can someone suggest a certain facial or peel for severe blackheads?
    I have a big problem with blackheads. It seems the More that I try to take care of my skin the worse it gets. I use an apricot scrub by St. Ives. Its really cheap and it works pretty well too. Also, before you put the strips on, put a really hot wash rag on your face to bring them to the surface, then while your skin is really good and wet put the pore strips on, and you'll get a better result. I also have these face scrubbing pads, I think they're made by nutrogina. Those work pretty well too, they aslo have an astringent that tightens up the pores. I don't think there is anything that can really be done, except a dermatologist.Can someone suggest a certain facial or peel for severe blackheads?
    I use 4 treatments a day. But one I use for blackheads is Differin. Ive been using it for 3 years now and my face has cleaned completely. I had horrible blackheads that they were becoming part of my face, and Differin did the job of getting them off :)

    Is it ok wearing make-up even if I got blackheads & pimples?

    I started wearing make-up again and pimples/blackheads in my forehead started showing again and I don't want to stop wearing make-up because I look weird.

    Besides, I don't really wear loads, I only wear mascara, eyeliner %26amp; lipstick if my face is really bad with loads of pimples showing up.

    Any advice???? Anyway I started washing my face with this blackhead eliminating soap and put some pimple reduction thing on my face and its gone worse.

    3 pimples have been popped and deep with this hole. I don't really know what to do.

    HELP!?Is it ok wearing make-up even if I got blackheads %26amp; pimples?
    Try examining your diet. Are you eating chocolate and pizza? Fried foods? If yes than stick to a good wholesome diet of whole grains such as whole wheat bread etc and whole fruits and fresh vegetables, nuts and seeds in moderation and lean meats and cheeses if any. Cut back on all dairy products this can cause major acne. Drink lots of water! No sodas. This will help your complexion greatly! Oh and exercise and wash your face 2x a day. If this is what you are already doing than try rubbing a little dab of bar soap on your blemishes it takes care of them overnight and if you want to try tea tree oil you can purchase this from the pharmaceutical section of WalMart in the vitamins area. Apply a dab of oil to all blemishes. This works to dry out the blemishes and acts as an anti bacterial to them as well.Is it ok wearing make-up even if I got blackheads %26amp; pimples?
    No, it is not a good idea, as it further clogs the pores, and increases the pimples, and acne inflammation.
    If you don't wear any face make-up like foundation or powder i don't know why you're skin is breaking out as for the spot stuff you're using i would stop using it and try something else that's more suited to your skin. It sounds like you have sensitive skin.
    use mild face wash like cetaphil because sometimes when you use acne products, it makes it worse and overdrying can lead to even more pimples.

    make sure your moisturizer is oil-free also, and if you do wear makeup then make sure it won't clog any pores (oil-free).

    drink lots of water and don't worry about your pimples too much - they'll go away in due time.
    First of all, don't pop pimples, pull the skin around them apart. That way you won't damage your pores. However, you can wear makeup. You need to get a tinted moisturizer, so that it hydrates your skin and gets rid of pimples instead of causing them. But don't put powder on over it otherwise you're going to reverse the results and defeat the purpose. Also, try to use a 3-step acne clearing system; one with a cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. Another thing you can add to this regimine is doing a clay or mud mask only once a week to clean your pores and make your skin glow.
    Okay, here's what I did with my daughter. I took her to her peditritcian %26amp; we explained what was going on %26amp; she gave her a foam antibotic. It works great for her. However, anytime you start using something on your face to clear up pimples, it will get worse before it gets better. If you want to wear makeup to cover the pimples, get make up that is made from only minerals. They are several varities out there and some are reasonable, but don't use anything with chemicals, because this only clogs the pores more. Also, try washing your face with Dove %26amp; lukewarm water. Good luck %26amp; quit stressing out about them, because that adds to them as well.
    Yes you can wear makeup just be sure to wash your face 2 x a day. In the morning and evening. You are breaking out now because you just stared washing you face with something new and it is getting all the dirt out. It will stop, just make sure you continue to was you face.

    hope this helps!!!
    You can still wear makeup even though your face breaks out. You just have to find a really light type of makeup for your complexion (sensitive, normal, dry, oily, or acne prone). You also have to be careful when you start using a new product. Try not to start using a new product right before your period, your skin is extra sensitive at that time. If your skin reacts badly to a product right away though, stop using that product. There are really two types of acne treatment out there that you can get without a percription: saylic acid and benzol peroxide. Most people find one works for them and the other makes their skin worse. Look at what was the active ingredient in the stuff you tried, and after two weeks try the other type of stuff. Lots of products have different levels of both, so if you find something that works, but you're skin is drying out, try a product that has less of the active ingredient in in (there's usually a percentage listed with the active ingredient, like 2% benzol peroxide). I've tried tons of stuff, and the only thing that works for me is ProActive. I use the whole system once a day, in the morning so the pimple fighting stuff is on my face all day, then at night I use a mild bar soap (Dove or Ivory) making sure I get all my makeup off. I use eye makeup remover every night. If you try something and your skin starts to dry out, try using it only once a day if it's helping the pimples. Hope This Helps!

  • What do you do after you use a blackhead strip?

    when the pores are all open... and empty. lolWhat do you do after you use a blackhead strip?
    Cold water and apply a good astringent like witch hazel.What do you do after you use a blackhead strip?
    cry in the shower.

    Seriously, the salt and hot water are great for cleaning all that crap out. Do it.

    Be careful not to drop any new crap into the holes you've opened up or it could get infected (and some people have even had their faces amputated).

    Good luck!
    lmao montel!!

    just rinse with cold water.
    A good astringent will close your pores--then moisturize--even with skin that is oily and or has the oily T zone you need to use a moisturizer--when replacing the oils your skin needs it keeps your oil glands form overworking--
    Clean your face with an astringent to close the pores.
    ~Rinse with cold water.~
    Wash your face with a light cleanser if there is any sticky residue from the strip. Otherwise, use some astringent or toner to clean the pores and reduce their size. If you dont have any toner, splash some cold water over the area.
    i would clean my face with a face lotion use warn water then to close the pores rinse face with cold water .I have done this for year and have never had acne it is a good way to remove black heads too hot water on a face cloth use as a facial do a few times then close with cold wash cloth

    Sore blisters on my nose from trying to squeeze out blackheads?

    ok yesterday i made a huge mistake on using lots of pressure too get rid of my blackheads.. i just made it 10 times worse because now i have little blisters on my nose which are very sore nd the end of my nose looks like rudolph!! the blisters weep when i try too squeeze them nd yellow stuff comes out..

    whats the best way too get rid of this fast or speed up the healing??

    thanks in advance for all the help..Sore blisters on my nose from trying to squeeze out blackheads?
    if you fill a bowl with boiling water and hold your head over it with a towel over your head it will open up your pores and will be easier for you to remove blackheads. However the best thing to do is not to pick them and make sure you use a good exfoliating face wash once or twice a day! good luck xxSore blisters on my nose from trying to squeeze out blackheads?
    if im being honest i dont really get blackheads, i get spots, 13 and a girl by the way, today, i used pore strips from wilkinsons (dunno if you have tht in america, you might even live in england) my nose was rough, so i bought them, now its as smooth as a babies butt! i might have had small blackheads but lots of them, so try that, there called...

    Montagne Jeuneese pore strips and theers a pic of a lady on it brown hair with her hair up

    hope i helped
    get some cotton wool, soak it in some warm to hot water ,and place on your nose. Leave on for a 1 min , Do it again with another cotton wall, and wipe away. You pores should be open. Then all you do is put sudo cream on it. All over . Dont rub it in too much. Yoy will feel it working. Leave for half an hour . Then do the cotton wool thing again.

    Be gentle.

    Put a thin layer of sudo cream finally on the nose before you go to sleep. Wake up in the morning and will have calmed down a lot .
    the best thing to do it leave it alone put a HOT towel on the blackheads and after about 10 mins but antibotic ointment on it, or something like that, whatever you have. and in the futer dont pick because you know what happens and put the hot towel on the to loosen them up in the pore and use a blackhead scrubbing face wash or strips... then when all done rinse with cold water to close your pore up. do this daily
    you should squeeze everything out and the you should put hot towel on it and let the steam open it up and let it heal.
    by a clean and clear that will cover up them blackhead and dont squizze them or you will just make it worse so leave them and just by clean and clear. xx
    i feel your pain, i've been wondering the same thing for ever now!! next time leave the blackheads alone and use a face wash to take care of them
    OMG I do that all the time.

    I need help on that to

    I'm in my late teens and I have awful blackheads on the chin and nose area. I've tried most things, any ideas?

    I am desperate for help. As I'm fed up with going through the pain of having my spots squezed. When I know this damages them. I used to use NEUTROGENA Visibly Clear - daily cleansing cushions. I like Neutrogena, but these just didn't work for me.

    I want a product that will remove my blackheads, and then further recommendations on ones that will prevent them.

    I have tried nose strips, rose water, I really need to improve my skin.

    I don't wear foundation, only mascara and eyeliner. I am going to see a dietician about my diet. But I don't eat an accessive amount of chocolate or sugary sweets, infact I limit my self to 2 bars of chocolate a month.

    I hope my further details help you! I really really really need to get this sorted. I have my birthday coming up soon aswell, and It's a big one.

    Dermalogica! It removed all my black heads on my chin and spots and congested areas! I really recommend you go on their site and find a dermatologist near you who can refer you to the right products, all for free. Then you will receive some samples to try out and wallah. I bought the products after as you need some time to see if they work well or not. get facial scrub, plus a deep cleaning cream
    no bars of choc! eat more fruit, i say
    Clean%26amp;Clear Blackhead Remover.拢2.99 Superdrug or Boots.

    The best.
    Okay, your a teen, and right now your skin is changing. When you were younger, say 10, your skin was turning over every 2 weeks or so...clear skin, yeah!

    Now you hit your teens, and it's happening slower. Here's the scoop..now that your skin cells are shedding slower, and you have excess oil/sebum on your face, it causes a sticky, glue like texture, and those old skin cells are sticking together, not shedding. This causes your pores to get clogged.

    What you need to do is start exfoliating 2-3 times a week with a gentle scrub. Cleanse morning and evening.

    The difference between whiteheads and blackheads is that the blackheads have been exposed to oxygen. It means they are actually ';open'; blemishes, while whiteheads are still closed.

    With regular exfoliation, it helps shed or slough off those extra skin cells. This will help bring you clearer skin.

    I highly recommend Dermalogica products, but you don't have to use professional prodcuts. Just understand that your now older, and your skincare routine has to change because your extra hormones, and slower shedding skin cells.

    When you get older, it slows down even more, but the sebum/oil production slows down some. You won't break out as often, but you'll have duller skin. Exfoliation helps that. Get into the habit now, and it will help you clear your skin, and keep it that way!
    TRY THE FOLLOWING:

    * Go for a detox deep cleanse facial

    (it helps!)

    but make sure u go about a week before any function, so IF any redness occurs after the facial, it wil clear up before the big function.

    * OR, Buy a deep cleansing wash, use twice daily but do not use roughly as this could hurt ur skin!

    * OR try tea tree oil

    * Use a wash which is recomended 4 oily skin....

    Ur skin may be congested or oily and thus may b causin the blakheads.

    * DRINK ROOIBOS TEA! And keep the tea bags. Wipe them over ur face, or alternatively, use the tea itself ( no milk incl) and use a face wash.

    ALSO,

    * I think ur best bet wud b 2 drink bout 2-3 litres of water a day.

    I hope this info helps u hun.

    Good Luck n dont stress too much, it'l make it worse!

    ****
    any scrub
    Same here. I use to have loads of them on my nose. Steaming-tried it...wasn;t great..plusit left a spot after..even worse.

    Neutrogena stuff is nice but they don't always work..they didn't for me :[

    try having loads of fruit and veg. It does work.

    In the hols..were no makeup AT ALL and cleanse, tone and moisturise in the morning and night..Very good.
    try tea tree oil it comes as a facial wash ,soap ,a spot stick and it works.
    use the pore strip then after apply a bit of tea tree oil.
    Try using a tea tree face wash daily and also get a facial steamer and put a few drops of tea tree oil in it - that should clear out your pores!
    lush do a fabulous cleanser called ultrabland, its made with all nice things so it shouldn't irritate your skin but at the same time its really effective and cuts through everything, its the honey in it! they do a toner made of tea tree too, also very gentle but removes all the excess.

    basically lush rocks!

    go in and talk to them, they are ridiculously friendly and have shops all over the world so you should be able to find one in your area
    I had really bad black heads on my nose and between my eyebrows. I used pro-active and it worked really well. I can't use that mask thing so I don't know it using it would speed the process up or not but without it, it cleared my skin in about a week and a half. I tried clean and clear and it didn't work for me. I've never tried any lemon or tea tree things before..
    try a new product that is better quality.. such as cliniques products. ask the person at the counter about what you should get and she should tell u exactly what will work best.
    Lol you have a sense of humour which is great. I would go and get a facial so they can get them all out and then buy a exfoliater and use this a couple of times a week which should keep them away.

    You should be just on the breakthrough where it stops. As you mature your hormones create extra oils in the skin creating these problems. A dermatologist can give you antibiotics for the infections and a med to help clear up the pimples along with a over the counter or a script to cleanse the skin. You should just about be through with it.

  • ARRRRGGHH! how do I get rid of really really stubborn blackheads???

    Hi,

    Im 12 years old and I have THE MOST STUBBORN BLACKHEADS ON MY FACE!! what can I do to get rid of them? I have tried everything - nose strips, acne medication, ect. Any other products that can get rid of them super fast? Is there anything I can do besides washing them twice a day?????

    Thanks,

    ElsieARRRRGGHH! how do I get rid of really really stubborn blackheads???
    Hey Elsie!! Theres this ';Deep Clean'; Neutrogena cleanser that has little beads in it and it works REALLY well! So try that! And after you wash your face with that, use Olay ';Clarity'; (it's in a purple/blue bottle) and that stuff works wonders. After washing your face twice, follow with astrengent and a light, oil free lotion. :-D I hope this helps!

    Remember:

    Proverbs 31:30 - ';Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.'; %26lt;3

    Your Friend, KatieARRRRGGHH! how do I get rid of really really stubborn blackheads???
    You know the microwave wax for removing face hair? well it removes, I mean really removes all black heads! I am so glad I could share this with someone! Report Abuse

    Well i have two choices for you either use clean %26amp; clear blackhead claening astrigent or ,, boil water till its hot put in a bowl then put ur face like 2 inches away from the water and have a towel so the steam will touch ur face ,, 4 like 15 min or so then wipe it off with pad of cotton and just see the dirt coming out of ur face
    astringent

    Does Neutrogena's Blackhead Eliminating Scrub really work?

    Does it actually work?Does Neutrogena's Blackhead Eliminating Scrub really work?
    omg yes! its awesome!Does Neutrogena's Blackhead Eliminating Scrub really work?
    This product does not work. It has been proven to remove blackheads in only a small number of people, about 10%. This product can actually cause more blackheads and pimples because of the material used for the scrub. It can cause burning in some and for an average of 40% a redness that can last for days.
    i had it, and yes but id get da CVS brand, cuz its cheaper and like da EXACT EXACT same thing!!!!! trussssssssst me!

    worked okay for me :D

    Whats a good skin wash,that actually helps with pimples,blackheads,oily skin?

    Thank youWhats a good skin wash,that actually helps with pimples,blackheads,oily skin?
    Cetaphil

    It's wonderful.

    It doesn't clog pores and is great for sensitive skin.

    I would also try a mild face scrub such as St Ives, Biore, or Phisoderm in the shower.

    You can find all this at Walmart, CVS, etc.Whats a good skin wash,that actually helps with pimples,blackheads,oily skin?
    try, pro-active, or neutrogena or however you spell it they have a lot of stuff for acne, black heads, etc..
    clean n clear advantage products
    well if u prefer natural ways for skin problems then here is one very simple and harmless...

    1)FOR PIMPLES:

    mix half tea spoon of potash alum in water that is enough to fill ur cube trays and then pour the mixture in the cube tray and let it freeze.

    use it as often as u can like each time u come from outside etc/

    i bet it works and has no side affects.i think it works for oily skin also.

    2)FOR BLACKHEADS:

    each morning after washing ur face with facewash gently rub the areas u have blackheads for 2-3 minutes and then clean that area with clean towel (a bit of harder) u'll get ur blackheads gone.

    At this point.... will do ANYTHING to get rid of blackheads....?

    I have had blackheads for about 2 or 3 years now, and, I HATE THEM! I have tried picking, a dozens of blackhead face cleaning stuff, but, none have seemed to work. I have tried such brands as: Proactiv, Aveno, Avalon Organics, Clearasil, and a few others. Please, if you are know of any good websites, or affective ways to get rid of them, LIST THEM!!!! THANKS, and, 10 points to BEST ANSWER!!!!At this point.... will do ANYTHING to get rid of blackheads....?
    I use St. Ives' Blackhead and Blemish Control Scrub which really cleans your face and also when they get really bad I use Biore Blackhead strips. You just wet them and let them sit on for about 10 minutes and pull them off. And you can actually see them. They are fairly cheap, but they do work.

    Hope this helps!At this point.... will do ANYTHING to get rid of blackheads....?
    This will take a trip to the dermatologist -- but guaranteed to work wonders within about 2 weeks. ACCUTANE. You could waste a ton of money for drug store items that don't work, or else spend extra for this medication. My son's severe blackheads were completely eliminated within two weeks - it was a miracle.
    Get the Medicated Acne Masque w/10% sulfur from Bee-Luscious. This stuff will get rid of em. Leave it on for like 20-25 minutes and when you wash it off the balckheads are GONE! Look for Bee-Luscious on Google!
    My son

    used to get them a lot but just steamed his face about 3 times a week and this also helped them pop out easier he washed with just a little soap and rinsed really well and used no moisturisers to block the skin.His face is now clear and if he does get the occasional one he steams again.
    You should try Mary Kays microderm abrasion set. It helps to refine pores, and minimize blackheads. You only need to use it once or twice a week, and only a little, so it lasts a very long time. I love it!

    Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness. High School is coming up and I have pimples and blackheads! Help?

    Any products that really worked for you quickly?

    I have side swept bangs so that kind of results in pimples on my forehead.

    I clean my face every day and use Noxzema but it just isn't working.

    I've tried a lot of things but I wanted other people's opinions before I go out buying random products.High School is coming up and I have pimples and blackheads! Help?
    Do this once every seven days to get rid of blackheads:

    1. Wash with a salicylic-acid cleanser to unclog the blackheads on your face. (Try: Noxzema Triple Clean Blackhead Cleanser, $4 at drugstores)

    2. Exfoliate using a scrub with jojoba beads, which are oil-free, non-drying polishers. After exfoliating, rinse your face with warm water, then splash with cold water to close pores and prevent greasiness.

    3. Moisturize with an oil-free lotion that has an SPF of 15 in it or higher. (Try: Wet n' Wild Fresh Face Skincare Clear Skin Oil-Free Moisturizer SPF15, $5 at drugstores!)

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~鈥?br>
    To get rid of zits and pimples try doing these skincare tricks once a week:
    1. Cleanse with a salicylic-acid wash to remove dirt and oil.
    2. Repair skin with a mask that has salicylic acid, which dries acne and smooths the face. (Try: Neutrogena Oil-Free 60 second mask!)
    3. Moisturize using an oil-free lotion to hydrate skin without clogging your pores. (Try: Clean %26amp; Clear Oxygenating Oil-Free Ultra-Light Moisturizer SPF 15, $7 at drugstores!)
    ~~~~~Also since you have sideswept bangs, make sure you're washing your hair everyday with a cleansing shampoo (Try: Herbal Essence's Drama Clean Shampoo/Conditioner, it comes in a green bottle!). And maybe since school is coming up your should wear your hair in a ponytail and use a headband or some bobby pins to hold the bangs back from your face to clean out your face before school. Then, once school starts you'll be able to have fresh skin. (: good luck!High School is coming up and I have pimples and blackheads! Help?
    I use a japanese company that works great. Its called N'aive. I think you have to go to an asian store to buy it. Or you can use Clearasil Ultra Advanced Formula. The one that get them gone in three days. Proactive is great too.
    First, dont let your hair touches your face. use a facial cleanser with salicylic acid to combat blemishes. Why dont you try clean and clear's pimple clearing speed gel. It has a salicylic acid an acne fighting ingredient that helps to unclog pores and prevent clogging by helping the skin麓s natural renewal process. It麓s also mild on skin. I personally use this gel and it really dries my pimple and wont leave dark spots. You also have to be patient and dont stress out that much it will only aggravate your pimples.
    RIRST I WANT YOU TO UNDERSTAND THAT WE ALL GO THROUGH THAT PROCESS, EMBRASSING AS IT CAN BE.

    STICK TO A CLEANSING PROGRAM, OF TWICE A DAY AND USE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE FRIENDLY TO YOUR SKIN. TRY, JOHNSON'S FAIR COMPLEXION FACE WASH, DAILY EXFOLIATOR, DAY AND NIGHT CREAMS OR JOHNSON'S CLEAN %26amp; CLEAR PRODUCTS, LIKE CREAM WASH, DAILY EXFOLIATOR, SPOT CONTROL.

    HOWEVER, IF YOUR CONDITION PERSIST CONSULT A SKIN BEAUTY SPECIALITY WHO WILL DO A SKIN ANALYSIS FOR YOU AND RECOMMEND PRODICTS THAT YOU CAN USE.

    GOOD LUCK.
    There are alot of products on the market that promise to work, but the fact is that not many do. If Noxzema isn't working for you, you could try other products, but it's doubtful that they will work much better.

    Just remember, if you can't get rid of the problem, that everyone your age is going through the same thing. Most of the other students will be so worried about their own pimples that they won't notice yours. Think about it, how likely are you to notice other people's zits while you're so busy worrying about your own? That's how everyone else will be too.

    I had a nightly routein that I went through in highschool, and I still got a few pimples here and there, but not very many. What I suggest is after you wash your face at night, use an apricot scrub, then rinse it off. Afterwards, use an astringent, and leave it on. This should help at least a little. It's not necessarily the brand name of the product, but what the product contains that will help you. Apricot scrub and astringent should be all you need.

    Goodluck.
    The best that worked for my acne is Clearisil Ultra deep pore cleansing pads, 3 days and I had tremendous results after a week and a half my acne is almost completely gone.
    Probably a considerable amount of time spent stressing over it wouldn't help it. I mean if you were so stressed you were compelled to go out and seek help on dead end zones like this. Well I'd suggest you shouldn't overwash it. I dunno it seems to work for some folks. Not everyday, wash with water and wash with whatever chemical bullshit three times a week or something. It'll clear up just don't encourage it with your petty concerns and insecurities.
    wash your face twice a day. not with a dish towel type thing but a face towel. a facial mask might help 2. i had the same problem. it worked 4 me. it will still probably take a few weeks but thats just the way it is.
    Just be yourself!
    hi perhaps u can visit this website http://sg.88db.com/sg/views/landingpage.aspx?CatID=3020000
    try proactive, it seems to work really well for my friends that use it.
    Just get over it, 5 years time and you wont care about what the people at your school think. All high schools need a pimple face acne kid.
    maybe its because of all the skeeting... skeeter :/ anyways, try natures cure. It deffanitley works.
    college is coming up and I have no pimples or blackheads woooooooo!!!!!
    try ponds or clean and clear dat worked on my face and stop using products dat irritates ur skin. i think u hav a sensitive skin so y not try 2 use a soap
    ';clinic'; makeup make a pore reducer that really works for my teen. She has less blackheads and even less acne. good luck
    I would say that it really just depends on your skin type. ProActive is a really good all around skin cleaner. Keep in mind that as big as high school perfection might look everybody is going to have a zit every once in a while. Also the standard rule for a face wash is to give it at least 3 months to do its magic, 6 months would be even better. Your skin may fluctuate over the first couple of weeks but it will eventually become accustomed to the treatment and stop freaking out on you. Good Luck!

    Most of all .... just try and enjoy the high school experience. There are a bunch of us who know how you feel.
    for the blackheads use biore pore strips

    When i apply a mud mask on my face. the blackheads go for about 4 hours and ALL come back again. help me plz!?

    ive tried cream for the blackheads. face washes. mud masks and all sorts. My face becomes oily and blackheads appear again within hours. ive tried an oil-free face wash... and the oil wears off within about half a hour.

    i went to my doctor, and he was no help atall.

    you all at yahoo answers are brilliant so i was wondering, what home remedys do you know. or can you give me tips or help.

    thanks

    me.mo :)

    (10 points for best answer)When i apply a mud mask on my face. the blackheads go for about 4 hours and ALL come back again. help me plz!?
    Take zinc! Zinc regulates oil production, after about 2 weeks you will notice a difference. You also need a serum or cream that will oxidize your skin, keeping your pores from retaining debris. Dr. Spiller which is a german brand makes a Herbal sctive complex and oxygen vital complex that I swear by. Also, stop using foamy cleansers, they strip your skin too much, look for a creamy cleanser with rose or cucumber in it.When i apply a mud mask on my face. the blackheads go for about 4 hours and ALL come back again. help me plz!?
    Biore Pore strips remove blackheads where they won't come back. You see them right on the strip. I think if you try them you will be pleased with the results.

  • What is the best way to get rid of blackheads and minimize your pores?

    Going to the beach soon... which means no make-up while on the sand, in the waves, or in the pool. My skin doesn't break out a lot, an occasional pimple here and there, but I do have blackheads on my chin and nose.

    What are the best products for clearing up blackheads? Are there any out there that will clear up blackheads and minimize your pores?

    Any home remedies to try, with or without the products?

    I usually just wash my face with soap and water, but I've started using Noxzema salicylic acids pads and their citrus face wash. It's clearing up the two pimples I had on my chin, but if anything, I think it's making my blackheads more visible.

    So, for another question (haha, sorry), do blackheads usually look worse before they get better?

    I've seen the blackhead eraser by Clean and Clear on TV, does it work?

    Thanks a bundle in advance!What is the best way to get rid of blackheads and minimize your pores?
    washing your face with soap is bad as the soap blocks your pores.

    i use clean and clear blackhead minimising cleanser. its jst a case of putting it on in the morning and at night, no need to rinse. its really good.

    i also have started steaming my face once a week, and in the bath i use 'simple moisturising facial wash' which is completely soap free and minimises spots

    i would give both of them products a try, they worked for me

    Good Luck :DWhat is the best way to get rid of blackheads and minimize your pores?
    just don't touch them nor pop them.

    because once you do you get MORE.

    if you leave them alone and let them

    run there course they will go away in time.

    trust me thats what i do and i rarely ever

    get zits, pimples or anything :)

    hope i helped, %26amp; good luck.
    I HIGHLY recommend using Biore Pore Strips. They work incredibly well, and well worth the money.

    http://www.biore.com/usa/products/pore_s鈥?/a>
    Ug dont you hate blackheads?! I get them across my nose and on my cheeks sometimes. I have been using this stuff in a little orange bottle (but it comes in a small orange and silver box) that I got because I was getting a pimple and I have had blackheads. Its called AcneFree Terminator. Its for pimples AND blackheads! Those little strips you stick on your nose them pull off did not work for me. But this stuff is working pretty well. My pimples disappear much faster and my blackheads and starting to get smaller. I also use a blackhead scrub 3-4 times a week. If you cant find the thing im talking about just look in the face wash isle for something that clears pimples and/or blackheads and buy a cheap blackhead scrub.
    Getting rid of blackheads is a difficult task. And there are many methods out there that simply don't work.

    For example...

    ......squeezing, steaming and popping.

    But here's a method that do work. It's called exfoliation. Once you start to treat it, it becomes less visible.

    Exfoliation is the removal of the top layer of skin (the epidermis). And is effective for almost every type of facial skin care problem.

    But here's how exfoliation can get rid of blackheads......

    Blackheads form when sebum (natural oils produced by the skin) gets trapped in the skin's pores. And if these pores are partly open, then oxygen reacts with the trapped sebum, turning it black in color.

    Now to remove these blackheads requires you to ';un-roof'; the heads of the clogged pores.

    And guess what......

    ......that's exactly what exfoliation does when removing the epidermis of the skin.

    And once the head of the pore is removed, the trapped sebum can be taken out via cleansers and toners.

    So how do you exfoliate?

    Well you can visit a doctor's office to have a chemical peel, laser peel or a microdermabrasion procedure.

    But I must warn you that these procedures are expensive. In fact a chemical peel procedure can cost up to $300.

    But there's a cheaper way if you're interested.

    You can purchase the at-home versions of the chemical peels and/or microdermabrasion creams. These work well although you'll take a little longer to get the results your looking for.

    However, once you've removed the top layer of skin (the epidermis), you'll easily get that trapped sebum out of your pores.

    To minimize your pores, first start with a good cleanser. Then wipe your face with a cotton ball soaked in a toner.

    This process should extract all the dirt and debris from your skin.

    The cleanser and toner should contain glycolic acid that is made up of alpha-hydroxy or beta-hydroxy acids.

    During the day your pores accumulate sebum (oily substance) secreted by the subcutaneous (oil) glands along with debris.

    This encourages your pores to grow in size. What you'll need is an agent to dissolve the sebum and old dead skin cells.

    Glycolic acid,fruit acids and salicylic acid are excellent choices.

    I recommend that after cleansing and toning at night, use an acid peel pad to deep clean pores and exfoliate.

    Hope this info helps, all the best:)
    i just use Cleanse %26amp; Polish by Liz Earle, if you use it with the Muslin Cloth it gently exfoliates - getting rid of them and KEEPING them off unlike the blackhead clearing things because as soon as you stop using them they will come back!

    Also you could do the following for a quick treatment;

    ~Steam face with facial steamer with a touch of Tea Tree Oil added to the water

    ~Buy a blackhead extractor http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/_en/_gb/cat鈥?/a>

    ~GENTLY push down on the skin until the blackhead 'pops'; out

    ~wipe off and repeat untill you are blackhed free!

    also Biore Pore strips are good- check this out-http://img.makeupalley.com/1/1/0/8/67641鈥?/a> thats all the gunk that came out of one womans pores- GROSS!! but proof that they work lol

    hope i helped :]

    When you squeeze those litle bumps, white heads or blackheads...?

    ....you get white orb like things, whitish liquid like ones or brownish snake shaped ones out.

    What are those bumps (the non-black/white-heads ones) called and what is it you get out of any of the three? Is it a good, bad or both to not have those things in your skin?

    If they are a bad thing, will they stay there if I don't get them out by picking them? Is there a way to get them out without damaging skin, like sweating or facials or something? What about really big ones (the orbs from bumps or blackheads), do they need special treatment (my mom said you have to squeeze then or they never come out).

    Thanks, if you answer this you're really going to help me get rid of a lot of frustration so answer at least a part please.When you squeeze those litle bumps, white heads or blackheads...?
    Whiteheads are hardened sebum ( oil) that has collected beneath the skin. Whiteheads must be extracted by a professional preferably a dermatologist or licensed esthetician. Squeezing them or any of the following disorders out literally tears the skin which can and probably will scar the skin. Blackheads are also considered a skin disorder caused by excessive oil clogging in the hair follicle. That is why you think of it as wormy; it takes the shape of the follicle. Blackheads contain a mixture of the excess oil, dirt, and debris which breeds bacteria. They, too, should be removed professionally to prevent skin scarring. Pimples without fluid or pimples that contain pus should not be removed by forcing the accumulation through the skin by squeezing. Pus is a sign of infection and should not be spread to other areas of your skin or your nails. By following a daily and nightly regimen of keeping your skin clean, toned, and moisturized is the best solution to simple breakouts. Anything other than simple acne should be seen and diagnosed by a dermatologists or skin care specialist.When you squeeze those litle bumps, white heads or blackheads...?
    I agree with one(JB) and they are just pimples and boils and some from ingrown hairs or sweating alot....Squeezing can cause more problems since your fingers may not be sterile...and you introduce more dirt into the acne.Stick with acne medication and scrubs and don't pick...if you have one of those big ones that hurt use a astringent and scrub. Keeping your face clean and oil free will help.....
    They're all pimples - it just depends on whether the top has dried (blackheads) or are still forming under the surface (white pus). You can cause scaring by squeezing them. There are lots of over the counter facial scrubs and astringents to dry your skin out. Proactive has worked for lots of people but is rather expensive. An abrasive facial scrub followed by an astringent will do just as well. The bottles of acne medication - lots of brands - also help to dry up the white ones faster. Avoid oily based make-up.
    Try using a zit zapper, I use one all the time which really helps.

    Is it normal for your GF to squeeze your blackheads and pimples?

    My GF used to squeeze blackheads off my nose when we were first going out (first 2-12 months). its about 24months now and for the last 12 months it just really hurts like someone is stiking a pin in your nose (or back or where ever they are). I tell her I don't want her to get them anymore because its painfull and anoying; but she is fixated on it and says i dont care about her as much as i used to because i dont let her get them and that she really enjoys it, what are your expereinces with this issue?

    Also whats with her obession, do others get this?? If we are making out or something a little more intimate, sometimes she notices them on my face and looses her mojo because she wants to squze the black head!Is it normal for your GF to squeeze your blackheads and pimples?
    1.) She must like you ALOT

    2.) It grosses her out a bit

    3.) Take better care of your skin

    Some good skin care prod.

    *Netrogena wave

    *Olay

    *Clean and Clear

    Is it normal for your GF to squeeze your blackheads and pimples?
    LOL YA. my cuzin always does it to her boyfriend. and some of my freinds do it to their boyfriend and girls.. its just a habit. liek bitting your nails. tell her that its embarasing.please stop. i love you the same still and even more each day. but it really hurts please stop.you know you can always buy a blackhead scrub,.. gets rid of them in liek a week after using it twice a day.

    bets of luck!
    My best friend does that to her boyfriend all the time! He hates it. But she's taking an aesthetics course right now, and after she gets her license she will be able to do facials professionally, and then she will be getting paid to squeeze stuff out of people's faces.
    It is normal for a girlfriend to do this, mine used to do it all the time till we broke up, but it sounds like they gross her out, so if you take better care of your skin the problem is solved and she wont have to do it anymore.
    Ughhh...That's gross.It's gotta be love.
    Don't let her do that. Find her something else to play with.

    You're going to scar.
    my best friend always squeezes her BF spots... its just one of those things... shows how comfortable she is around you

    x
    That is disgusting....I would make you do it.
    yes! its hard to resist, like bubble wrap!

    Pls Help! I think i am addicted to squeezing blackheads around my nose.?

    Whenever i look at the mirror, i see blackheads everywhere on my nose. The result, squeezing them every morning b4 i put on my make-up, every evening after i remove my make-up and every night before i put on my night cream. i am addicted and can't seem to stop anymore eventhough i now have even more (and bigger) blackheads, orange-peel like skin and scars everywhere which makeup can't even cover. this horrible habit only started the week b4 xmas.i've promised myself so many many times to stop, but it is yet to happen :( i feel really sad to have destroyed my own facePls Help! I think i am addicted to squeezing blackheads around my nose.?
    get scar remover to get rid of the scars

    skin lighteners will help too

    i have a problem like that with scratching the skin off the back of me head. my hair stopped growing for while.

    the thing is. the skin will take a while to get better. but you just need to try and be serious with not popping. even if it means not looking in the mirror. honest.

    good luckPls Help! I think i am addicted to squeezing blackheads around my nose.?
    Stop squeezing - you know it just makes things worse... Get some biore nose strips and try them - it will pull all the oil %26amp; stuff out.. you will be able to see it on the strip. Use 1 every 2 days %26amp; see how it goes. You can also put your face over some hot water (the steam) be careful... and steam open your pores - it may help , and put on some acne medication. Good luck...
    well, I use to have the same problem except that it wa with regular pimples on my forehead but I stop. The best remedy to ur cure is to just wash ur face with a really good scrub since you have black heads, they happen to be the most easiest of acne to get rid off so just don't look in the mirror or put on make up ...I know, it'll be hard to go with but use a moisturizer that's oil free like Eurcerin or Cetaplin ....They are the best and won't make the blackheads as red or bruise up. Don't scartch the blackheads off either .....that gives you the scars by putting in so much bacteria. .....just wash with regular soap dry ..NO MAKE- UP and no nightcreme....it's to much oil and things that add on to the problem .......and remember don't look in the mirror and if you do just walk away....and remember the scars you'll get
    u got bigger blackheads now bc u squeeze ur black heads b4 putting make up on, u squeeze the built up oil from ur pores, and ur pores open up, then u put make up on, which backs up the pores all over again.

    what u have to do is, start squeezing the blackhead AFTER u take the make up off, in the evening is best time, and put some Bactine or Peroxide right after, which will shrink the pores. but do NOT do it b4 putting make up on, like i said, u'll just get the junk out of ur pores and put more junk back in pretty much.
    think of what ur doing in the long run u will have that skin for ever, i had the same problem i was scaring my face,my mom told me to use alcohol once a night to dissolve them,only use it three times a week and use a gentle scrub .be sure to use it in the morning and at night. be as gentle as u can ur face is the most delicate skin u have if u treat it roughly it will look that way.i stuck with it and am so glad i did.also another way to stick with it is to give ur self a reward when u have stopped ,some thing u really want.good luck!! also to stop redness if u do pick put redness Relief eye drops on the spot

    Any home remedies I can use to take off blackheads and or small pimples?

    I've been having a really tough time with my face. It wasn't what it was when I was in 6th grade. Anyways, I'm 13 and in serious need of acne help! Ive tried using everything I can, nothing works! I pop the black heads and small pimples but they always seem to come back! I usually only get small pimples when I'm on my period. I have a lot of blackheads on my nose and around it!

    I've tried using a bobby pin, a needle, safety pin... (It pops them but they come back!!)

    I also have used Black head Eliminating foaming pads. They don't work!

    Maybe home remedies might work? Like spreading oatmeal on my face or something? Should I try this after I take a shower or before? Here are some pictures of how horrible my acne face looks like (It's also hard to tell because I have freckles.) :

    Thanks (:Any home remedies I can use to take off blackheads and or small pimples?
    Rubbing Alcohol will help dry out the pimples, so use that and dab a little moisturizer of the spots to help keep skin soft and smooth.

    And mixing natural yogurt with fine oatmeal, mix them until it makes a thick paste, spread across the most affected parts of skin. Leave to dry -like a mask- then with lukewarm water rinse from skin

    -For night-

    Use honey and Cinnamon powder, mix until you get a paste like substance, spread across infected areas of your face. And rinse in morning.

    And for after Also Aloe Vera soaps and gel will help -damaged skin-

    (not remove it)

    Also eating healthy and exercising daily will help balance out your bodies needs, stay away from stressful things, because it will only lead out to further break outs.

    Hope this helps! :]

    When you pop blemishes, you are spreading the infection further across your face where new ones will pop up. If you do pop your pimples you should always clean the area after,maybe Sea Breeze or try putting a liitle bit of tooth paste on problem areas. Not alot because it dries out sensitive skin, but you should try that and see how it works. And try not to pop them as much, i think that will help you out too.
    Get some liquid soap and mix in some table salt and rub this over your face it will act as a facial scub, just be careful of the eyes though.
    For black heads try this:

    Nose-Strip Method

    1.Wet your nose with a clean face cloth and then dry your hands.

    2.Open the packet that the nose strip is in, and rip the little tabs for a better fit on your nose.

    3.Put the sticky side on your nose, wet it again and wait for around 10 minutes.

    4.After 10 minutes, the nose strip should be as hard as papier mache. Remove it.

    Facial Scrub Method

    1.Wash your face and rinse with water. Do not bother to dry it.

    2.Take a quarter-sized amount of facial scrub and lather through clean hands.

    3.Massage your face with the scrub to exfoliate the skin.

    4.Rinse and wash face again if necessary.

    Steaming Method

    1.You may be familiar with this method of treating colds. However, it is also highly effective in treating blackheads.

    2.Boil up a pot of water; adding lemon is an option.

    3.Throwing a towel over your head so it covers the pot, keeping the steam within, lean over the pot and breathe deeply.

    4.Do this for five minutes, until your face is quite wet from steam and also perspiration. This opens your pores.

    5.At this point, you may choose to run a cotton make up pad over affected areas to dislodge blackheads.

    6.Continuing on, add some cooler water to the pot so that the water remains quite hot, but not boiling, so that you may apply it to affected areas. Do so with a wet cotton pad, wringing it out, and pressing blackhead areas with the pad. Ensure the pad remains hot. Also, be careful not to burn yourself!

    7.Cleanse after the use of this method.

    For pimples try this:

    1.Keep your hair away from the face.The oil from your hair can lead to clogged pores and breakouts.

    2.Drink lots of fluids. Water is your best bet for good skin. Hydrating not only helps you internally, it also makes your skin look healthy since toxins are flushed out by water. As a result, your skin will have a really healthy glow.

    3.Clean our stuff. Anything that touches your face like pillow cases, pillows, towels, makeup accessories, and even your hands, should be clean. Germs and bacteria that stay in these things could easily be transferred to your face and cause a really bad breakout.

    4.Develop a skin regimen. As you should take care of your skin inside (with diet and hydrating), you should also take care of it from the outside. Start an easy-to-follow regimen like washing your face with warm water and gentle facial cleanser before you go to bed. This should remove the dirt and dust that may clog your pores.
    There really isn't a way to completely make blackheads go away, but you can make them appear smaller by soaking a cotton ball with astringent and holding it to your face for about a minute so it has time to dissolve the dirt and oil. Another thing is to put a squirt of baby wash on a damp (not real wet) cloth and rubbing it on your skin for about a minute and then rinse it off. If you leave it on too long or scrub your skin too hard, you could end up with a scabby looking patch of dead skin, so it's important to follow my directions.
