Neutrogena Wave or Clean and Clear Blackhead Eraser?
Which one should I buy? I don't really have acne but i'm looking for something to wash my face, and get those little blackheads on my nose. If I get the blackhead eraser,do I have to wash my face too before I use it? Or does it also serve as a cleanser?
Thanks!Neutrogena Wave or Clean and Clear Blackhead Eraser?
Definitely the Clean and Clear Blackhead Eraser. The Neutrogena Wave smells great and it does get your face really clean, but the black head eraser is by far the best i have ever tried and believe me i've tried everything, this thing is better than proactive, acne free, biore and other Clean and clear products. Stop wasting your time and money on products that don't work and try this for sure. Good luck girl!Neutrogena Wave or Clean and Clear Blackhead Eraser?
I have the wave. I also use apricot scrub from saint Ives. I would recommend both. The Apricot scrub doesn't get rid of black heads but it definitely cleans your pores and leaves your face smooth. I Just bought the wave today. It seems to work well. I saw immediate results Report Abuse
i have neutrogena blackhead eliminating daily scrub and it is amazing. it really does get rid of the black heads. i still have large pores, so i'll need to find something to help with that. i'm not sure if the wave works, or if it does if it also tighten pores.cleansing products

Does anyone know of spot/blackhead treatments that actually work?
I'm a young woman of 24 who still suffers from severe acne and have had it since the age of twelve, my doctor has been useless and yet it is hard to believe that in this modern age there isn't something that could cure this, my doctor says it has nothing to do with my diet as I asked her as i'm grasping at straws as to what is causing them, I mainly have severe blackheads rather than red spots buts its really effected my confidence over the years and its now hard just to walk out the door, I have tried so many medications and creams both bought in the chemists and prescribed by my doctor but none have worked, I used one cream for ages but my skin didn't improve and it seemed immune to the cream, its really getting me down as i've had them for so long now and its gotten almost unbearable for me, the doctor dodsn't want to know and the skin specialist (an elderly gentlemen) wasn't interested either, anyone else have this probelm and does anyone have any recommendations or advice, thanks!Does anyone know of spot/blackhead treatments that actually work?
i had the same problem and tried quite a few things over the years. one of the cheaper products i tried that worked very well on me, was pure-pore fection from avon. i used the skin refining mask a couple of times aweek and the cleanser and toner every day. this coupled with a non greasy moisturiser kept my skin good. last year i had a flare up and was treated with a strong antibiotic and a topical cream called duac. my skin was clear within 14 days. good luck.Does anyone know of spot/blackhead treatments that actually work?
seek old wise one fresh tomateo rubbed into skin will help
I had spots which were very painful at times with no forth-coming results from either doctor or hospital so I decided to try a little dab of Iodine on them sometimes I'd cover with a plaster after a day I was able to squeeze them with-out pain and remove heads then put on cream ie TCP they've all now disappeared.
Hi! i am a license Professional Esthetician meaning Professional Skin Care Therapist i been in the beauty business over 20 years and i have seen thousands of woman with your problem! this is what you need to do first of all you need to get a real good facial from someone that has more than 4 years exp. i mean exp. not just a license lingering in there paper work for 4 years. You need extractions that means a deep pore cleansing facial then you need to be on good skin care! using professional products! not some store bought over the counter drug store skin care stuff. Yes diet is very important! to much oil and saturated fats, sugars and no fiber or water, vitamins is very toxic to your skin! Now if your close to Los Angeles, CA i would suggest you see me you will see results in 1 week! but if you are not find a salon that does facials ask to speak to the facialist and look at her skin! and interview her ask her years of exp. and ask her if she uses her hands for extractions if so she is no good!! you need a facial with the facialist using an implement called an extractor! very effective in removing all the blackheads and cloged pores so thats it facials are expensive they run about $90.00 and up for an hour but you can buy a series of facials like for instant 5 for $ 80 and get one free so ask for a series that runs in that range and skin care products you will need a Purifying Gel Cleanser i have a great one for $25.00 it cleanses and removes dead skin and its natural anti-bacterial then i suggest a Lotus Flower and Ginseng Tonic $25.00 to lightly hydrate your skin with out a heavy moisture feeling on your skin that is applied on a cotton ball after you cleanse all over your face to nourish and hydrate and finally a Clay Masque $25.00 very important! you do this once a week for 30 min. then rinse the clay masque. The Clay Masque absorbs excess oil and closes the pores! but of course this should be done after you get a good deep pore cleansing facial! so let me know if you are in L.A. come see me! if not get a good facial i will send you small samples of the product if you wish and you can do mail order skin care from me. Sincerly, Andreah
try proactive and biore strips...and get some more sunlight..
i am using proactive twice a day and always in the morning b/c sometimes i forget at night. Use proactive but use the face scrub in the shower. I mean, shower in the morning and don't put soap on your face, instead of soap, use the scrub from proactive because using too many things can dry up your face. Then after the shower, use the toner and lotion from proactive. Nobody should use soap in the shower on their face, they should keep a facial scrub in the shower for their face instead to prevent over drying and flakes.
Also, about the blackheads, whichever treatment you use, make sure it is after a hot shower because then the pores open up and it will be easier to remove the blackheads.
80-grit sandpaper usually does the trick.
you really should get some strong anti-biotics they work rllyyy good my sister (16) had horrible acne hugee red marks ALL over her face her derm. suggested antibiotics strong ones there pills and ALLLL her acne was gone withing well 2 monthes she had absolutly clear skin!
O.K. i know that it sounds crazy but this seriously works for me.... if you put crest toothpaste on the zits.. it clears them up.. but u have to use crest the other crappy kinds don't work... there ya go .. my secret's revealed!!! i have NO zits at all... haha!!
Acne can be very mild, resulting in a few lone blemishes, or it can be severe when it occurs on the face, neck, shoulders, chest, and back. Pustules and deeper cysts occur with very severe acne and scarring may result if the condition is not cared for properly. These scars may be visible for a lifetime. Here's what your can do to prevent these scars from forming, and treat them if they do develop.
Preventing Acne Scars
Never pick or squeeze acne blemishes. This can lead to the spread of acne and the development of acne scars. Instead, there are a number of treatment methods that can be used to care for acne and prevent the development of scars. Herbs such as chamomile, lavender, juniper, bergamot, dandelion root, Echinacea, poke root, witch hazel, and burdock root can be used to reduce toxicity, improve the skin's condition and treat acne. Vitamin supplements can also be helpful as vitamins A, C, E and B6 are vital for healthy skin. Also, avoid exposing your skin to the sun's rays. Initially, sun exposure may dry out an acne blemish, but over time, unprotected sun exposure can damage the skin and further aggravate problem acne.
Types of Acne Scars
Medical professionals have developed a acne scarring classification system that aids in the diagnosis and treatment of many acne scars. Scars may be classified as ice pick, boxcar, or rolling.
Acne Scars - Ice pick
As their name implies, ice pick acne scars are thin, sharp scars. The skin looks as though it has been sliced with an ice pick. These scars are narrow, but deep, extending into the deep dermis or subcutaneous layer.
Acne Scars - Boxcar
Unlike ice pick scars, boxcar scars do not taper to a point. Instead, they are round pits that have sharp vertical edges. Skin resurfacing techniques such as dermabrasion or laser resurfacing may be used to treat shallow boxcar scars. Deeper scars require full-thickness treatment techniques.
Acne Scars - Rolling
Rolling scars appear to have a rolling or undulating texture. They are the result of folds in the skin to the subcutaneous tissue below. Rolling scars must be treated by breaking up the fibrous bands that are causing the skin to fold or roll. Subcutaneous incision is the method most commonly used to treat this condition.
Acne Scar Treatment
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers such as fat, collagen, hyaluronic acid derivatives, and polytheyl-methacrylate microspheres with collagen can be injected into acne scars to raise the surface of the skin and give a smoother look. The injection of dermal fillers does not permanently correct acne scars. The results are temporary, so further injections are necessary.
Punch Excision
Deep acne scars such as ice pick and deep boxcar scars can be treated with the punch excision method. This procedure uses a punch biopsy tool that looks similar to a round, sharp cookie-cutter. It comes in diameters ranging from 1.5 mm to 3.5 mm, and the correct size can be chosen to match the size of the scar. Local anesthesia is used to remove the scar tissue and suture the edges together. If a new scar should develop in the old one's place, it will now be easier to treat with a skin resurfacing technique.
This technique can also be performed with a skin graft, where the scarred skin is removed and that area is filled with a skin graft taken from behind the ear. Some kind of skin resurfacing technique will still likely be needed to correct any differences in the skin's color and texture.
Punch Elevation
This method of surgically correcting acne scars uses the same punch tool that is used in the punch excision method. It is used on deep boxcar scars that have sharp edges and normal appearing bases. With the punch elevation method, the base of the scar is excised leaving the walls of the scar intact. The excised base is then sutured to the surface of the skin to fill the void. There are fewer incidences of color and texture differences with this technique and less chance of developing another visible scar.
Subcutaneous Incision
Rolling scars can be treated with subcutaneous incision. This method is used to break up the fibrous bands that cause the skin to roll or appear undulated. Local anesthesia is inserted under the skin with a special beveled needle that remains parallel to the skin's surface. The needle is then used to gently cut the fibrous bands with a piston like motion. Bruising is likely to occur with this method, but it will usually fade in about one week.
Laser Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing is a popular treatment used to cure many skin defects. Carbon dioxide and YAG lasers are the two most common types used for the laser resurfacing of acne scars. Using the controlled beam of a laser, the top layer of skin is burned to a precise depth. The skin then heals itself by replacing the lost skin with new skin.

Proactive and I swear by it. I've been using it the past four years and it really does give you clear skin again.
They have 3 strengths, the one you see on the commercials is the regular strength. I've recently changed my strength because after my daughter was born (probably wild hormones to blame for this) proactive wasn't as effective as before. So I now use the stronger strength that you have to ask for when you call...they also have another moderate strength that is salicylic acid.
It's an incredible product. Doesn't dry out skin and is very gentle. You'll see results very soon.
i use this nuetragina stuff clearasil and i jis wash my face like normal and i never get any zits i have really clear skin
The best way to get rid of blackheads is to remove the cause of them 鈥?excessive sebum (oil) and dead skin cells. Use only products made with natural ingredients that are not too astringent. Harsh products can strip the skin of oil, causing it to produce more sebum which leads to more blocked pores. I use products that contain natural oils, such as jojoba or coconut oil to cleanse the skin e.g tea tree oil (nose strip).

What Is The Best Way To Get Rid Of A Blackhead Quickly & Without The Pain ?
ahh i have this real big blackhead, i can't get rid of it , %26amp; i popped another one %26amp; it left a scar and its hurts like hell ! what can i do ):What Is The Best Way To Get Rid Of A Blackhead Quickly %26amp; Without The Pain ?
They actually have a thing called a blackhead remover and you can usually buy them at the local pharmacy. The first link below is a list of natural blackhead removers. The second link is an actual blackhead removal tool, the one I had had a little circle on the end of it, not like the one shown. The second remover tool looks a little better than the first one. Good LuckWhat Is The Best Way To Get Rid Of A Blackhead Quickly %26amp; Without The Pain ?
Hey, even using that Blachead remover, you still have to open up your pores by steaming your face over a pot of water over the stove, taking a hot shower or applying a hot washcloth over the infected area then genthly squeeze or use that tool. If you dont remove them, they will double and that area will start to look so ugly. Everyone you talk too can see them by the wat!

Is it true that blackhead extractors are dangerous and can cause internal/brain infections?
While this is an urban legend, it is possible to cause an infection in the skin with the use of a blackhead extractor. It is very rare but possible for an infection on your nose or face to make it to the brain. The risk of a skin infection with the proper use of this equipment is vary minor and the risk of it spreading to the brain is almost all but impossible.
It is good advice to learn to use your extractor correctly. Do not over do it when trying to remove a blackhead, this is where skin damage can happen. If you ever cause bleeding treat it with a topic antibiotic.
Treat any infection seriously no matter what the cause. If you see it spreading see a doctor immediately. Spreading can be seen as streaks (red or white) moving away from the wound or redness increasing around the area.

How effective are biore blackhead strips?
on a scale of one to ten
would you reccomend them
and could you see your blackheads once torn off ?How effective are biore blackhead strips?
They irritated my skin, leaving it red for hours, even though I don't usually have sensitive skin. Don't use them immediately before an important event. I would give them a 4 on a scale of 1 to 10, because they did seem to take off some blackheads, as evidenced by blackheads visible on the strip once it was removed. But they certainly did not get rid of all my blackheads. How effective are biore blackhead strips?
I'd give them a 5. Yeah, you can see them when you tear them off, but I don't think they actually clear the pores. They just remove the upper part of the blockage.
they can pull hair out also damage skin i don't recommend them
10, i would definately recomend them i made my dad use one and every single black head was torn off, and yes, you can see them after you tear them off %26lt;on the strip not your face%26gt; good luck
I've used them and they seem effective enough. Just make sure when you apply them to really get them wet, otherwise it won't attach to the nose (or other area) enough to grab the blackheads. Wait until it is completely dry (if you are in a hurry, try sitting in front of a fan ) and then grab the edge and then peel it off fast. You will be able to see the black heands on the strip if you do it correctly :) Since it is almost imposible to remove all black heads, I say it is a 9 out of 10.
they definitely work. but the best and cheapest way I found out to get rid of blackheads is using an antibacterial soap everyday to wash your face, like dial. it work better than the strips. It also get rid of oil, dirt, etc...
Its Good, i use it once in a week, to remove black heads and white heads, it is really a good one to get rid of black heads,
If you goto a beauty parlour, they will remove by tweezers which is a very painful process, this is very good, from the scale of 1-10 i can reate 1t as 9.5. No side effects, My fiancee is also using the same one.
oh yeah.. i say it's a 10 b/c i have tried others and none are as good, and yes, you can see the blackheads.. it's quite satisfying to conquer blackheads by the group and not one at a time!

oh yeah.. i say it's a 10 b/c i have tried others and none are as good, and yes, you can see the blackheads.. it's quite satisfying to conquer blackheads by the group and not one at a time!
I had a blackhead in the lining of my lip. It turned into a bump that looked somewhat like a pimple.?
It hurt and I could feel it there so I popped it. All the stuff hasn't come out yet.... What is the best solution to caring for this. Is there anything I could put to help it heal and not look like a fever blister?I had a blackhead in the lining of my lip. It turned into a bump that looked somewhat like a pimple.?
Ack! I know it's really difficult but we should never pop them. But, since it's already been done try holding a warm wash cloth on it for a while. The warm washcloth will help loosen whatever is left in there, and you should be able to GENTLY squeeze it out. But it's already irritated, so it's gonna stay red for a while.I had a blackhead in the lining of my lip. It turned into a bump that looked somewhat like a pimple.?
Ok, well I've had this same problem and normally it means that you're about to become sick. Still, to get rid of it I simply washed my face Clean %26amp; Clear Blackhead Control. I know it's not a blackhead any more, but it still helps.
you shouldn't of popped it, it could scar you, just give it time, if it doesn't heal in 3 to 4 weeks, go see a doctor and have them look at it.
o gosh that really sounds disgusting ugh im so disgusted i cant answer ur question

Do any spot/blackhead creams/scrubs/facewashes etc. work?
I don't have bad spots, just the odd few, but i do have quite alot of blackheads, and am using a tea tree face wash atm, however i'm not convinced its doing anything to actually get rid of the blackheads, so does anyone know of any blackhead/spot remedies that really do work to get rid of them? (they must be available in the UK)
thanks :)Do any spot/blackhead creams/scrubs/facewashes etc. work?
you need to use products for at least 2 months to judge if they are working well. also, in your face wash, how much tea tree oil is in it and is there enough to have an effect on your skin?
for blackheads, you need to exfoliate. do this every two or three days, and don't scrub too harshly. the rest of the time, use a mild cleanser to avoid irritating while you clean. also, use a treatment. this could be something like pure tea tree oil, rosemary oil or a spot gel from boots or a pharmacy, like dr nick lowe spot gel or blemish complex gel. then moisturiseDo any spot/blackhead creams/scrubs/facewashes etc. work?
I used to have really bad acne on my face but once I used neutrogina it worked perfectly, it cleared up within a few days. Other skin products and face washes overdry my face and doesn't give it enough moisture but omg neutrogina works so good. Trust me you will love it. I have sensitive skin and all of their products work so good! Also, to have a face wash just to suit your skin type try neutrogina skin ID. You have to order it online and you answer personal questions about what type of acne you get, and where you get acne at, and if you have sensitive skin and ect. And they will ship out your skin clensers right to your house! I hope this helps!
I Found The Best Was To Have A Cold Flannel On Your Head When You Go To Bed, Sounds Really Wierd But It Really Does Help Although It Gets Your Pillow A Bit Wet. Try It It Wont Work Straight Away But It Helps :) x

I use Tea Tree oil for my blemishes on my face and it shrinks up my pores when i use it. It works good!
U can use a clay mask in that area that will help tighten the skin! Look for a pore minimizer! Call a beauty school near u and ask for the esthetics instructor and ask her what they have there, and they may be able to help!
Go to skinstore.com (pore minimizer)
Try not to pick at it!
CONCEALER!
It will eventually heal itself, but until then, just a little dab of concealer will make it invisible. If it's dark, you'll want something with a yellow base tint to it, if it's light, something a little more pink base will do.
Good luck!
use preparation H ointment. It will shrink it, no lies!!!!
If you clean your face every morning and night, it will help. Also, you can find pore-shrinking cream that will make it shrink.

I have a few blackhead looking spots on the shaft of my penis. I was wondering if this could be an std.?
I have only had sex with one person and she was a virgin aswell.I have a few blackhead looking spots on the shaft of my penis. I was wondering if this could be an std.?
You both are fine then if you are unsure then just mention it to your docs when you see them next.I have a few blackhead looking spots on the shaft of my penis. I was wondering if this could be an std.?
If you're worried you have a STI or STD, you should go to your doctor. You can get a STI from any type of sexual contact (not just intercourse). Most infected people won't have any symptoms, so any sexually active person should be tested once a year, at least.
That being said, it could just be a blackhead.
To decrease your risk of contracting an STI in the future, always use a condom the right way. You can find instructions here: http://www.lifespy.com/2007/youtube-raid鈥?/a>
If you know you've used a condom correctly, EVERY time you've had sex, then you'll have much less to worry about :)
could be pubic lice. they look like little pepper specks and itch a ton. go c a doctor.

Why does this blackhead come out over and over again?
I have this tiny blackhead on my cheek and I squeeze it out and after like a month or 2 it always comes back. In the same spot! It's been like this for like a year. I wipe off my makeup and wash my face everyday. How do I get rid of it??Why does this blackhead come out over and over again?
see a dermatologist....but blackheads can be deep and maybe you are not getting all the ';stuff'; out......it happens try getting a deep cleansing facial....that may also help...Why does this blackhead come out over and over again?
I really feel like I'm going to throw up.
you really need to go to a dermatologist to get it removed. sometimes when you squeeze blackheads or whiteheads it makes them go deeper in the skin, yes some may come out, but it is the sames pressure on the inside as well. don't ever squeeze them out.
some great tips and articles about acne treatments that will help you on this site
Sometimes, the cause of blackheads is the sun and your hair. In the sun, your face sweats and it goes to the pores of your old blackheads. It refills the pores. Do you let your hair down to your face? if you do, you can clip your hair up or make a ponytail. That way, you can avoid having blackheads. You can also use dove soap. It moisturizes your face.
You probably have an overactive oil gland in that spot. By squeezing it, you may actually be making the problem worse.
You may find that using an acne cream for blackheads helps.
If not, and it really irritates you, have a dermatologist check it out. The only solution I've ever heard of is a minor surgery, where they actually clip out the gland, and that scar will look worse than a blackhead does.
a blackhead is a large pore that fills with dirt and sebum ( the body's natural lubricant for the skin). All you can do is clean it out if it shows up again. Try a skincare system that targets blackheads. HTH.
i get those too..
try the proactive stuff.
don't over exfoliate in that area.. but once a week should help get rid of it
go to a dr to make sure its really blackhead it might very well be something eles. goodluck
wash your face every 4 days or so, with water and soap, and sugar!!! thats right, use sugar to rub on your spot, it should keep your pore clean, and try not to apply makeup on that spot, and mostly drink a lot of water.
You should go to a dermatologist. If nothing else, it will eventually scar there and then you will live with it forever. It is possible that it isn't a black head. Try Clearasil products. They work well for me. There is one I think it is called persagel. Basically, you put a little one the spot before bed and it helps to dry it up. It works pretty well. That is also Clearasil. Good luck!
Excuse me while I vomit
It may be a very deep pore that fills up with grime after a time. Go see a dermatologist. They have things they can do to fix this.
The pore is probably enlarged, therefore it's easier for it to become clogged. Causes of this include: exessive amt of dirt, oil, makeup, etc gets into the pore and keeps building into it, and squeezing it too much or with too much pressure. Use makeup products that are non-comedogenic (won't clog pores), oil-free, fragrance-free, and hypo-allergenic. Neutrogena's Visibly Even and Oil Free Makeups are good for this.
Depending on your skin type, incorporate products into your skincare routine that are formulated for large pores, such as Neutrogena's Pore Refining Line (these products are also fine for combination to oily skintypes) and depending on what your skin type is, keep the rest of your products (exfoliant %26amp; mask) from Nuetrogena and formualted for your skintype.
Steam the area (directions on steaming below) 2-3 times a week after you cleanse, and also steam your entire face during your once a week facial.
~DAILY/WEEKLY SKINCARE~
-You will need: Cleanser, Toner (or Astringent), Cotton Balls, Moisturizer, Mask (or Masque), Extractor (found at most beauty supply stores), and either a facial steamer or hand towel for steaming.
-Morning and night (before going to bed): cleanse, tone, and moisturize. If you have clogged pores, whiteheads, blackheads, etc., then 2-3 times a week include steaming (in this order: cleanse, tone, steam, tone, moisturize).
-Once a week: cleanse, tone, steam, exfoliate, tone, *extractions (instead of squeezing - see directions below), tone, mask, tone, moisturize. *IF NEEDED, for blackheads, pimples, etc, Don't begin doing extractions until you have been following all of the other steps for at least . weeks, so that the steaming will have caused any tough blemishes to begin to soften.
-How to: *
Cleanse -use a small amount and lather with water, apply using circular motions all over face and neck, repeat if you have makeup on
Tone - Squeeze a small amount onto the cottonball and wipe all over face and neck
Steam - for 10-15 minutes, using one of these methods: facial steamer, hold your face 3-5 inches above steaming water, or drape a hot towel over your face (leaving your nostrils and/or mouth exposed)
Exfoliate - follow the same steps as in cleansing, but don't repeat
Extractions - place the hoop (or eye) over the blemish (or blackhead) so that the blemish is in the center of the hoop, apply slight pressure and use rocking and rolling movements all around the blemish (don't use so much pressure that you create indentions or bruises on your skin), if and when the blockage comes out of the pore, wipe away with a cottonball that has been dampened with toner
Mask - apply mask evenly on face and neck, leave for 10-15 minutes, remove by draping a hot towel over your face, then wiping away - if it begins to sting or burn intensly before 10-15 minutes has passed remove and consider using a milder mask
Moisturize - apply a small amount on face an neck and massage until it's absorbed
*In all of these steps, always avoid the eye area.

How to you get ride of blackhead fast?

There really aren't a whole lot of effective external blackhead removal options. The problems that lead to blackheads are internal. Until you correct the internal problems that are causing your blackheads, all the blackhead removal methods in the world will do no good. The blackheads will simply return.
But here are some tips for removing blackheads:
- Keep the skin as clean and oil free as possible. Use natural or chemically prepared cleansers, astringent solutions or masks to accomplish this. Avoid harsh soaps that may irritate the skin or any creams that leave an oily finish.
- Use a gentle exfoliant to keep the dead cells off your skin and away from the pore openings.
- Avoid harsh squeezing or scraping at the blackhead. Excessive squeezing can damage the skin surround the pore and can actually increase the size of the pore leading to more blackheads in the future. How to you get ride of blackhead fast?

How to get rid of a blackhead?????
i have a blackhead and i want to get rid of it by wed. how do i get rid of it without buying anything have any suggestionsHow to get rid of a blackhead?????
The person above said st ives...
some people say its good but it can damage your skin if your skin is sensitive (at first it will seem like its working but in the long run your skin is affected)
Use a washcloth and wet it with warm/hot (not boiling) water and then put it on your face to open your pores... you can then use a blackhead cleanser or if you dont have one wash with a facial soap... then wash your face thoroughly ... do this a few times evryday over the next few days and the blackheads size should slowly reduce..
although i'd recommend using blackhead cleansers instead, this will be much more effective.. try using clean and clear or skin products with tea tree oil/witch hazel in it.
hope this helpedHow to get rid of a blackhead?????

What is this raised almost blackhead type thing right on my collarbone?
I've had it for a while and it hasn't gone away. I have chicken skin and molluscum (use to, but have scares). It looks like a blackhead, but I can't get rid of it. It is black/purple in color and raised. What can I do??
Any tip would be great!! I'm going on vacation and it really stands out against bright colors and scoop-neck shirts. Please and thank you!!What is this raised almost blackhead type thing right on my collarbone?
....I really hate to say this, but go to a skin specialist and don't wait. If it is what we all don't hope, at least it would be still at a stage where it did not do any harm to you yet. But I read and watched many studies about malicious skin cancer, and there is no joke about it. Unfortunately it grows fast and remains pain free until it has done already major harm by spreading further.
Skin cancer has a variety of looks, but can be detected by a non-expert, simply by this:
Has the spot developed recently and caught you attention?
Has it grown pretty fast?
Does it look ';weird';, not like usual skin imperfections you have had all your life?
Did it grow out of a beauty mark or other skin spot and changed colors/size?
Does it look like the colors are ';bleeding'; into each other?
Does it itch sometimes and would turn the surrounding area red like on an infection after you scratched it?
Is the spot real dark or even black?
Does the shape of the spot change?
I do not want to spread fear, but skin cancer is sneaky and extremely dangerous. Once there, no time is to lose in order to get rid of it. Better be safe than sorry!
Good luck to you!!What is this raised almost blackhead type thing right on my collarbone?
Probably just a cyst from an ingrown hair. However, you should see a dermatologist to be sure.
Sorry sweetie - sounds to me that there's no household solution for something like that - unless you try applying a zinc based cream, that could possibly do the trick within a few days. Other then that - I really suggest going to see a doctor, a tiny something on the skin is not always ( just a tiny something on the skin ). get it checked out.
If all else fails in time for your vacation - apply cover-up!!!!...lol *wink

I have this ';blackhead'; that has popped up on my forehead in the last few years. It is tough?
I have tried to pop it but it just leaves like a small crater and then it comes right back in. What the heck is this thing?I have this ';blackhead'; that has popped up on my forehead in the last few years. It is tough?
Hello,
I suspect (since it has been happening over the years) that it is dietary related. Do you consume diary products (cheese, milk, icecream, yogurt, cookies and candies made with milk in the ingredient list etc)?
If so, eliminate these from your diet for just a week. Then eat raw papaya for breakfast (by itself) 3 times a week. Wait 2 hours or more before eating anything else and see what happens.
If that is not the case, then please do try eating raw papaya for breakfast alone 3 times a week (remember to wait 2 hours or more before eating other foods) and try these easy tips:
1. Cut up slices of raw garlic and rub a slice on the blackhead 3-6 times a day. Do this everyday until it clears, thought it shouldn't take long. You should really see results with this. The blackhead won't leave scars behind either.
2. If you really want to clear the infection off your forehead, you can try this ';crash course'; tip. It may not taste the best, but it'll get the job done. Take 4 raw garlics and peel off the skin. Cut the garlics up thoroughly with puffed rice. Eat this combination while drinking water.
I hope this helps you out some.I have this ';blackhead'; that has popped up on my forehead in the last few years. It is tough?
Before going to bed, rub lemon juice over it. Leave on until morning then wash off. Repeat several evenings in a row until it goes away.
I don't know but I do know that a small staph infection often presents as a pimple. If I were you, the next time it happens I would leave it alone for a few days and then gently squeeze the pore out. Put a liberal amount of neosporin in the crater. If the blackhead keeps coming back after this then it may be time to visit your doctor. Try your regular physician first before going to the dermatologist.

i have alot of pimples and i want to get rid of them. will putting lemon juice on them help? does it sting?HELP!is there any remides with fruit like oranges or apples....to get rid of acne? or blackheads?... thanks!!!
Pimples
A simple soap and water routine can help dry out pimples. Make sure your child washes her face at least three times a day, with soap and water. If your child's skin is very oily, she should apply soap before wetting her face.
Camphor solution dries out pimples, and it soothes the skin. Keep a bottle handy so you can pat the solution onto the problem areas at regular intervals. If a pimple-head has already formed, put a hot towel on the pimple repeatedly until it comes out. Then pat on some camphor.
Onions are also useful in dealing with pimples. Cut a few onions and cook them in lard until they become transparent. When they have cooled, tie the mixture in a muslin cloth and apply it to the pimples in the form of a poultice.
Blackheads
Soap and water combined with a steam routine seems to be the best approach. Add dried lime flowers to a pint of boiling water and steam the face in this solution for 10 minutes. As a result, pores will open up. Press the skin around the blackheads with cotton wool or tissue. Then close the pores with an astringent solution, and wash with soap and water. A steam face bath with Epsom salts added to it is also effective. If the blackheads are still clinging on stubbornly, pat some almond oil on them and gently squeeze them out.
You can also try a solution made of 6 ounces of distilled water and 27 grains of soda bicarbonate. Rub this solution over the blackheads.
Milk also helps treat blackheads. Wash the face with warm water and then sponge it for fifteen minutes with tepid milk every day.
Apply a little warmed honey to the face, and wash off after fifteen minutes.
Exfoliate your skin with a facial scrub, twice a week. Make your own homemade exfoliating scrub. Dissolve four ounces of powdered almonds, two ounces of glycerine soap and one ounce of multani mitti in a little water. Then rub this solution onto the blackhead-affected areas on your face.
Large pores
While there is no permanent remedy to close large pores, astringents do help to temporarily tighten and close them.
Buttermilk has astringent qualities. Apply it on your face and leave it on for 15 minutes before washing off with cool water.
Egg white also helps tighten skin. Beaten egg white should be applied on the face with cotton wool and washed off after 15 minutes.
Tomato juice contains Vitamin C and potassium and works wonders on large pores. It can be used alone or mixed with curd or multani mitti to make an excellent pore-closing paste. Lettuce juice is another alternative.
Pastes made of cornmeal or oatmeal have also been found to help closing pores. The paste should be made with hot water, applied and left on for about half an hour. It should then be washed off with cool water.
Powdered alum mixed with hot water or rosewater and egg white is also good for tightening and closing large pores.
You can also make a good skin tonic using equal parts of vinegar and water.
As in the case of pimples, camphor works well towards tightening and closing open pores. A few drops of camphor spirit mixed with rose water or cool water makes a nice pore-tightening solution.
The most important tip of all: start taking care of your child's complexion from the outset, so she never has to endure the pain associated with far-from-perfect skin. After all, prevention is better than cure.
Some more easy-to-implement body care tips.
1.Watermelon juice clears the skin of all its blemishes leaving it fresh and lovely. Grate a watermelon, squeeze out the juice and apply it on your face for 15 minutes. Now wash it with hot water and then splash on cold water.
2. Fenugreek leaves (methi) cure pimples, blackheads, dryness and early appearance of wrinkles. Make a paste of these leaves and apply it every night. Next morning, wash off with warm water. This improves your complexion.
3. Tea leaves and lemon juice helps prevent hair fall. They also lead to soft and shiny hair. You need to boil the leaves in water and strain out the tea. Add a little lemon juice to this concoction and wash your hair with it. Rinse your hair thoroughly.
4. Bengal gram flour (besan) mixed with curd can be applied daily on your face and hair! It will not only give you a glowing complexion, but also long and lustrous locks.
5. Orange juice is great for an instant glow. All you need to do is dip your fingers in the juice and pat your cheeks, chin, neck and forehead. Wash off after ten minutes.
Your kitchen shelf has been secretly storing all these beauty secrets for years. It is up to you to discover more. And when you do, don't forget to share them with us!
The rude shock in the mirror
You wake up in the morning, stumble to the basement and wash your sleepy face. As you wipe it dry with a towel, you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror, and let out a loud groan. No, you're not having a bad face day. It's something much worse than that. It's the (shudder!) biggest darned pimple you've ever seen in your life! Ugh! Where did you go wrong?HELP!is there any remides with fruit like oranges or apples....to get rid of acne? or blackheads?... thanks!!!
squeeze lime juice or lemon juice mix with oatmeal , cornstarch and a little warm water, keep it thick though. Spread it on your face . Leave on your face for one hour.
Wash , then wash with a cleanser or regular soap.
I suggest 2 limes or lemons , 1/4 cup oatmeal, 1/2 cup cornstarch, a 2 and a half tablespoons of warm water.
NOOOOO...LOL...
Lemons, oranges...etc,,,have natural acid in them, the acid will clog your pore's, and collect MORE dirt...
All you have to do, is wash your face in the morning, day and night, and after you wash them every time, clean it one more time with peroxide...trust me...Its not going to take affect right THEN and THEIR... But you will see a BIG DIFFERENCE!!!!
Trust me, i have done it and mine are GONE!!!!

Lemon juice works. Yeah it stings but it gets rid of the pimple. After you put some lemon juice, try moisturizing your face so it doesnt dry out and cause more acne. Anything with citrus will help acne. Oranges or lime will help too. Whichever one u prefer ar hav in handy. Try using cetaphil for mosturizer. My dermatologist recommended it to me and it works. U can get it walmart for five dollars.

Some of the suggestions in this article helped my daughter with her acne problem, maybe it will help you. She especially liked the lime and milk one.
Prevention is better than cure.
Most of us have ventured through Pimpleton at some point in our lives, usually during puberty. While extreme acne vulgaris is predominantly heriditary, there are a number of things you can try at home before visiting the dermatologist - none of which will rob fruit from your fruit bowl (in my day we were all into dabbing pimples with methylated spirits - METHYLATED SPIRITS! man. What were we thinking?)
Firstly, try to cut back on foods with a high glycemic index. For many years we've heard that diet does not contribute towards acne, but a recent study between the skin of teens in developing nations and those in the West suggests this might not be the case. According to the study, foods with a high G.I., like white bread, biscuits, and other sugary snacks, prompted the liver to produce an excess of insulin. This, the report claimed, could result in an increase in acne, though I'm fuzzy on the link between an increase in insulin and overactive oil glands. Regardless, low G.I. foods are better for you, so I'd switch to grain bread (not merely brown) and keep away from the sugar for a while.
Next, ensure that your skin is kept in good balance. A lot of teens overdo this and wash their face with anti-acne wash every hour, even though this may make the problem worse by causing the skin to retaliate and pump out more oil as a reflex. Use a facial wash once or twice a day.
Don't have a greasy fringe brushing on your forehead!
Finally, if things start to get really out of control, march yourself straight to your GP. My brother and a few friends took Roaccutane in their teens. An extreme drug that dries out our skin, lips, and has a list of potential side effects, it works. Some GPs and dermatologists may even prescribe something a little less drastic.
Hopefully now you'll be able to save the lemon juice for a nice fillet of grilled perch.

Can you use blackhead strips for ur forehead too?
like the biore ones? or are they only used for ur nose and chin? i have a blackhead on my forehead but for awhile but now its getting darker i dont know why. how can i remove it?Can you use blackhead strips for ur forehead too?
Yes. They make Boire Strip packs that have more in them for your forehead and nose, but sometimes I just use the nose ones on my forehead.
If that one blackhead doesnt come out, try getting a spot cream like clearasil ultra to break it down.
If all else fails, you can get it removed at a dermatologist. But I've had one or two blackheads that wouldnt come out no matter what, and were there for months, and just squeezed it out with two q-tips. No scar or anything. Just a little redness initially that went away quickly.
Yes. They make Boire Strip packs that have more in them for your forehead and nose, but sometimes I just use the nose ones on my forehead.

Plain baking soda and water mask is by far the best you can do for acne prone skin. Mix a water and baking soda in a cup until the consistancy of a thinner paste. Pat on face (do not rub) and let sit till it hardens then rinse off. This has done miracles for my sensitive acne prone skin!! Plus it's all natural! Can use as a spot treatment .Will reduce redness and you will barely notice the pimples
Toothpaste
Apply a dab of toothpaste on your pimple before bed. This is useful for new pimples, especially big ones. Whenever I spot a new pimple, I try this. Usually the next morning, it will be dried out enough to pop on its own.
Resist the urge to pop your pimples. It can cause even more damage to the skin and worsen scarring. Resist the temptation!
Aspirin mask
aspirin and honey. use 2-3 NON COATED aspirin tablets and sprinkle a little bit of water. dont over water them though. and then add a few drops of honey and mix. rub on to your face and leave for 10 mins. you can also use it as a scrub too before you rinse everything off.
RAW EGG
Crack egg whisk and apply to skin leave for 15 to 20 minutes.Smells and feels weird but you see iand feel it working after the first use.
Hope I helped
I have more if you need and for the bangs yeah when i had alot of acne i did that and i ended up loving them so much i kept them even till today. How to get rid of black spots from pimples and also how to get rid of blackheads and white heads?
try proactiv
dont get bangs
beacuse although it might cover it up it will only let the oil in your forehead stay in forhead.
your forehead needs to get air
my cuz had bangs and would break out on her forhead she let her bangs grow out to the side and her forrhead cleared up
im not really sur how to get rid of the red mark but you propably shouldnt get the baangs because itll just make you break out more because of when you sweat and if you put products in your hair itll make your face creasier.
I use Biore products for my blackheads. It's called Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. It only cost $6 or $7 but it works so well. I use them every 4 or 5 days and it takes most of my blackheads out.
proactiv
Astringant definately. Also for home remidies use an oatmeal mask once or twice a week. just take some oatmeal and put it through the food processor till it turns into powder and mix it with some milk and a little bit of lemon juice until you get a paste like consistancy, put all over your face leave it till it dries(you'll feel it drying) and wash it off. And Getting your hair cut wit bangs, you definately might break out more cause the oils from your hair will be rubbing against your face constantly, so make sure you just keep you skin and hair clean.

How do you get rid of a blackhead?
i have a huge one on my nose and school starts soon. HELP!How do you get rid of a blackhead?
Step 1 - Cleanse the face thoroughly with a good cleanser meant for oily skin. Preferrably use a salicylic acid cleanser.
Step 2 - Apply an astringent like witch hazel. It helps reduce oiliness. If its a bit harsh mix a bit of rose water in it.
Step 3 - Apply a good quality medicated cream or gel containing resorcinol, salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. This helps is soaking the oil and helps in peeling away the blackheads. You can get creams or gels of Benzoyl Peroxide treating blackheads If benzoyl peroxide leaves your skin dry, apply an oil-free moisturizer after 10 mins of applying benzoyl peroxide.
Apply a thin film of adapalene gel once daily before bedtime. Its mainly available in the form of ';Differin';. Its highly recommended! A word of caution though, adapalene can increase the sensitivity of skin to ultraviolet radiation from sunlight, so prolonged exposure should be avoided by judicious use of sunscreens and protective clothing.
Following this routine, in a matter of days you will be getting rid of blackheads.
Effective Tips to get rid of blackheads
鈥xfoliate the blackhead prone area 3-4 times a week using facial exfoliators and scrubs.
鈥se creams containing AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Fruit acids) like glyco-creams that will clear away any dead skin cells and ';expose'; the blackhead. Use the AHA's every 3 days or so.
鈥eep your hair away from your face. Greasy hair and skin go together, and hair can spread infection.
鈥void washing the face with soaps more than twice a day. Instead wash your face often with plain water splashes.
鈥ften use a mask with a clay base.
If blackheads look ready to pop out, you could try removing them gently by using a blackhead extractor. Also, Pore cleanser strips (blackhead extractor) for removal of blackheads are highly recommended for the treatment/removal of blackheads. Using them once per week will leave your pores cleaner and smaller.
Steam your face to soften both the skin and the material blocking the pores.
=)How do you get rid of a blackhead?
If it's a blackhead, just squeeze the sucker and be done with it. It'll heal in just a few days. Then start using preventative therapy like special acne meds like Proactiv if it's been a problem.
The products you are using, are they Salsylic Acid or Benzoyl peroxide? BP can be VERY drying. I personally like SA better. Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! Try finding a face lotion with SA in it. Clean and Clear has a good moisturizer with SA and it helps keep pimples at bay. It is only about $5 a bottle and lasts about 2 months and you can get it at your local store. I have used this in the past and it works well. Personally, I use Biore products (which you get over the counter. Their products range from $5-$10). They are harsh on pimples, but not on your face.
Personally, Proactive didn't work for me. I have been using Biore products for over a year and I hardly ever break out! Occasionally I will get one or two, but nothing bad. I use Biore Ice Cleanser for acne and Biore warming facial scrub every morning for blackheads (This stuff works. I notcied a DRASTIC diffrence in my blackeads being GONE within 2 weeks) . And then 3-4 day s a week I use Biore purging pore cream scrub. For body acne I use Neutrogena acne body wash I never break out on my body. It gets 110 in summer so sweat in inevitably, yet I never break out. Give it a try. All of it is cheap too. About $5-10 depending on what you buy! Salsylic acid it really good. It is in almost all acne washes. Benzoyl Peroxide is too drying for me! I think you will just need to experiment with products until you find what works for you. Remember, it can take 1 month for products to fully begin working! Good Luck!

If you want your complexion to be blemish free for years to come DO NOT squeeze out blackheads. Squeezing will can cause trauma to the area that will blemish the skin and possibly leave a scar.
Blackheads are caused by an excess oil production in the sebaceous glands and is a form of acne. The key triggers for oil production are diet, stress, humidity, contact irritation and genetics. Some of these will be in your control and some, like genetics unfortunately not.
The best natural way to deal with this problem is to clean and gently exfoliate the area regularly. Many people have found that using Dead Sea salts and cleansing the area helps in two ways- it acts as a mild disinfectant and the minerals soothe and help the skin regenerate. If you have access to Dead Sea Salt powder then you can use it directly on the area as an exfoliant. Just put some in the palm of your hand and add a few drops of water, then rub into the affected area. I recommend this to many of the people I see.

...AmyHow to get rid of black spots from pimples %26amp; also how to get rid of blackheads and white heads.?
the best answer i can think of is just wash your face hella good, in this case like 2-3 times a day, if you ever do get money get cream not pads(they take forever to work, and they also make your skin dry and flake)
1.Baking soda can be used as a great scrub. To start off, you'll want to mix a small amount of baking soda with some water for form a paste. Gently massage the paste into your skin for ten to fifteen seconds. Then rinse the baking soda off, and pat your face dry with a clean towel.
2.Lemon or lime juice can also be substituted for vinegar. Both of these juices are rich in citric acid, and can exfoliate your skin very well, halting the growth of acne spots, as well as fading previous, non-active acne quicker.
3.Crack an egg, removing the yolk so that just the egg whites are left behind. Beat these egg whites, and apply them directly to your face. Let it sit for fifteen minutes, and then rinse the egg off.
4.Aloe Vera has been used for many years in kitchens for topical application to burns. Another benefit of aloe is that it can prevent scaring, fade marks and help heal acne spots.
5.Each time you wash your face, use sugar to scrub it, at least once a day, for two weeks, to rid yourself of acne.
6.Soak cotton wool in mint juice, and apply every day.
7.Apply crushed marigold leaves on acne.
8.Boil and mash plums to get 8 teaspoons of pulp. Add a teaspoon of almond oil, and apply on the face.
9.Make a paste of turmeric powder, and apply evenly on the acne.
10.Mix together neem leaves paste, a quarter teaspoon of turmeric powder, sandalwood paste and gram flour. Apply on the acne and let it dry well before rinsing.
11.Powder half a cup a whole green gram. Mix it with two tablespoons wheat bran. Regular application of this will clear skin of acne.
I hope this works for you!:-)
Don't get bangs, it may hide the problem but it makes it worse. (personal experience)
If you don't want scarring, don't pop any! Now, here's what I can tell you.
I %26lt;3 Neutrogena!
First, start using the Neutrogena advanced solution set which you can find in any supermarket. Get the Neutrogena foundation or concealer for acne.
Not only does it cover the blemishes smoothly, it gets rid of them!!!!! YAY!!! At least it worked for me.
If you decide to use to use the Neutrogena, carry a makeup bag with it in it.
But you are into home remedies (the get-rid-of-quick kind of stuff) so here's what I can tell you:
Trying to clear them up in one day is hard and can leave your skin inflamed for a while...
HOWEVER, there are a few remedies that I have experimented with. My friends and family were happy to share some with me.
1. Apply lemons or tomatoes to your face, cut them into fours, and rub along face. Go to sleep and the next day- your pimples should be visibly smaller.
2. A mask of grated apple mixed with a little honey is an excellent remedy for pimples. Most facial masks can be applied to the skin for 15-20 minutes then washed off with warm water, followed by a cold rinse.
3. Another overnight home remedy for zapping a zit is to put a dab of toothpaste on it to help dry it out. You may need to test this on a short-term basis to make sure it doesn't irritate your pimple. Calamine lotion will have the same drying effect. (THIS ONE WORKED FOR ME, MY FRIEND GIT A RED RASH HOWEVER).
4. Grind some nutmeg with milk and apply on affected area. Pimples disappear like magic without leaving a mark.
5. Make a paste of roasted %26amp; powdered pomgranate skin with fresh lime juice and apply over PIMPLES.
6. Rubbing alcohol
7. Mix corn flour with egg white and apply on your face. Let is dry completely for 1/2 hour. Dip your hands in warm water and massage your face and wash off. This when repeated regularly gives you a smooth skin.
8. Honey
9. Dilute some lemon juice with water and dab on pimples to kill germs, cool inflammation and improve blood circulation. Lemon is also good for removing scars. That means any pimples you popped in angst that left a scar will go away over time. Lemon contains acid so it's like having an acid peel thing going, but not. Your skin will be so clear you can set that makeup aside for special occasions.
MOST OF THESE THINGS ARE EASY TO FIND- I didn't include things that are hard to find. I hope on of these works for you.
Though if you are willing to wait, Neutrogena advanced solution has done wonders for me. (I saw results in a day!)
Sorry for the length, GOOD LUCK! iHate pimples

I have a fetish with picking at my face, and popping and squeezing pimples and blackheads?
i just went crazy earlier today, and now i have scratches and bumps all over my face. ]:
i tell myself not to do that, but when i get really stressed out about my acne, i guess it's just something i do.
acne is having a huge impact on my self-esteem. i know it would clear up if i could just keep my hands away from it.
what should i do? and do you think these scratches and bumps will be gone by tomorrow morning? i hate going to school feeling like crap about myself. it's hard.
thank you very much. :3I have a fetish with picking at my face, and popping and squeezing pimples and blackheads?
The scratches and swelling will still kind of be noticeable by tomorrow, but not by much. My mom and I have that same problem with picking at our face; To avoid this, try to keep a distance away from the mirror, or try cutting your nails short, but not so short you just have nubs on your fingers ;)I have a fetish with picking at my face, and popping and squeezing pimples and blackheads?
Every time you want to scratch your face, do something else to get your mind off of it....maybe suck on some ice cubes .. ?

If they are really concerning you and you have acne not just they occasional pimple try using a stronger cleanser, toner and moisturiser. Try pro-active or go to a doctor or skin professional and get their opinion. Don't try using pro-active unless you have really bad acne because all proactive does is dry your skin out. Hope this helps.
DON'T get bangs that cover you're forehead...
yes- it will hide your problem... but it will make that problem worse.
skin needs air.. suffocating it will worsen your acne.
As for your skin problem, my best advice would be to not pick at it.
Trust me. I've been there.
Also, you might want to use a moisturizing face wash.
biore strips. or squeeze em. actually you need proactiv

If you want your complextion to be blemish free for years to come DO NOT squeeze out blackheads.
I recommend this to many of the people I see.

i have that skin that's got really big looking pores and are always clogged on my nose chin, forehead, etc. and there are bumps, like whiteheads underneath, that i can feel as i go over my skin with my fingers. im always embarressed by it and im 18, i've had them for so many years! what can i do? i already use a cleanser daily and a facial scrub at least once every other day, sometimes every day. i do what normal people with normal skin do. should i use those clay masks? if i did, would it take months to even start seeing results? or am i hopeless do i just have to wait years until it goes away by itself.....Can someone help me figure out how to reduce my pore size and amount of blackheads? =-(?
Hi, you can not remove your pores or have a size reduces. Size is genetics. you can use better product to have them look smaller and clean them with better cleanser. You can use clay mask with sulfur. If you need more info send me email. have a great day.Can someone help me figure out how to reduce my pore size and amount of blackheads? =-(?
I would go to a dermatologist for some answers. They specialize in skin care and will be able to determine what is up with your skin and prescribe some special cleansers or meds to help. Differin is a prescription and will help with the blackheads. You could also get a facial from a salon which will really help clear your pores and keep you looking fresh ...just do some research about the salon b/c some of those people don't know what they are doing. Also, you can use Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector and Pore Minimizer Skin Refiner in Cliniques skin care line. They both work amazing and I have used them for years.
read every part, and take it seriously. i've done it, and it really helps.
EVERY DAY, 2 times:
cleanse
tone
moisterize
salicylic acid/benzoyl perioxide helps. found on the back of washes and toners.up to 2%. treats pimples, acne
i would recommend you to wear less makeup, clear your face of oil (oil sheets @ a drugstore--150 sheets for $5. 10 cents one sheet. clean %26amp; clear/cvs. WHAT'S EVEN BETTER IS RICE PAPER--USED FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS BY THE JAPANESE, it really picks up oil a lot better!!! w/ this you don't have to rub in hard for it to work. but it's pricy--$6 for i forgot how many from ~H20+, or SHESHIDO. @ your mall cosmetics stands)
i normally squeeze out the things in the pores. really. when you see the HUGE thing of crap that's been in your tiny pore, stuck, it really makes you feel better.
GET BIORE PORE STRIPS. they really work. $7 for about 14 strips. local drugstore. what i recommend is to keep it on for the full 15 min, and scrub your nose before putting them on, opening up the pores so it's more effective. or take a steamy shower before you do it. or rinse w/ warm water, not cold.
i'm trying ~H20+ pore thingy. it's for about $20. small bottle. but i think it's worth it cause there's a LOT of natural ingredients in it.
i really recommend that you also keep your face clean, but not dry.
try toners w/ no alcohol. ~H20+, Estee Lauder, Neotrogena (alcohol-free one in the blue bottle, and other products. they won't strip your skin dry.

What facial product or facial mask can/do I use to get rid of blackheads, wrinkles, and open pores?
I have blackheads and wrinkles that I want to get rid of. I recently struggled with acne and for acne-post marks I was told to use scarzone, which I will. But now I need help getting rid of blackheads and wrinkles. I can use to get rid of these? I prefer facial mask consisting of fruits and food products or natural ingredients but I will also resort to a chemical product if that is the case. I also have a problem with open pores. What can I do about these? What facial mask. Thank you for your information and if you are giving me a recipe please include the ingredients along with the amount needed. Thank you for your help! What facial product or facial mask can/do I use to get rid of blackheads, wrinkles, and open pores?
No products are going to give you the results you want. And many make problems worse. I researched/experimented for a long time and found this was the only truly effective safe way to permanently reduce pores and rid face of blackheads. You quickly reduce them by quite vigorous massage using an essential oil - olive and coconut are excellent. (See USER'S happy response below). For acne prone skins use clove or rosewood - have been used by specialists to treat and cure acne. They do not clog or cause breakouts. You first flex or tighten skin by tightening face muscles so that you will not be pulling or stressing skin. Use finger tips and front and sides of fingers depending where on face you massage. A circular motion will not work. Do over and over firmly and they start shrinking right away. For quickest results do each day for 15 to 30 min.(Doesn't have to be all in one session). They will vanish in as little as 2 to 3 days. This is also perfect safe treatment to rid face of acne marks.and works wonders on lessening and preventing wrinkles (I can send you emails from users who swear by it). Using the oil you rub the marks and wrinkles over and over and the rubbing friction simply rubs them away. For best results do rubbing for ten minutes several times a day. You will be amazed at it's effectiveness. If massage entire face you will quickly have a radiant, tight, firm, totally blemish free, healthy skin and you will not need to use any other product or treatment ever again - not even moisturizers. Oils are perfect natural moisturizers.
REPLY FROM A USER - ';Omg, I've been following your advice and massaging my face vigorously with coconut oil for the last three days and I see results already! Thank you ever so much..this could be the solution to my all my skin problems. I'd messaged earlier asking about the pores on my face. They're very large and EVERYWHERE. I have a massive event coming up in a month. Do you think your method with help me get rid of the pores by then? Could I do it twice daily to speed up the process? ';

Hi:
My name is Michelle and I am a Registered Nurse who specializes in skin care.
Let me preface my response to you that there are no products for wrinkles. Reason being is that wrinkles have to do with muscle loss and a lack of elasticity caused by a loss of collagen as we age. The only solutions for wrinkles are skin fillers through injections or plastic surgery.
Now, if you are refering to lines than there are products you use that stimulate elasticity and nourish the skin.
Now having specialized in skin care for 12 years I have a great suggestion for you and furthermore the solution for the kind of products you're looking for.
First of all, you should consult with a professional and you can do it FOR FREE on this website: www.aboutyourskincare.com
The wonderful thing about this website is that you can ask any skin related questions you have free of charge and you will get a skin care expert/physician to answer your questions usually within 24 hours.
Furthemore, they have the best organic products derived from fruit, vegetables and vitamins. They have the best acne fighting skin products.
For the last 12 years I have had my patients use their products and the results have been consistent and wonderful. They have products specifically blended for your specific skin issue.
Good Luck!
REPLY FROM A USER - ';Omg, I've been following your advice and massaging my face vigorously with coconut oil for the last three days and I see results already! Thank you ever so much..this could be the solution to my all my skin problems. I'd messaged earlier asking about the pores on my face. They're very large and EVERYWHERE. I have a massive event coming up in a month. Do you think your method with help me get rid of the pores by then? Could I do it twice daily to speed up the process? ';

Good Luck!

i use the st.ives apricot scrub for acne prone skin
it works good
but you have to remember to only use scrubs at most 3 times a week bc you will scrub too much off allowing dirt and bacteria to enter your pores too easily and break out worse
for black heads, you can get the strips that pull them out.. they work somewhatAre the st.ives apricot scrub the best facial scrub for getting rid of blackheads?

I love the stuff, actually. I even use the generic brand from Walmart %26amp; it worked wonders; helluva lot better than dropping bigger money on the Biore' pore-perfect strips to yank the lil buggers out, too, if ya ask me. I also use an exfoliating brush WITH the apricot scrub bout once a week; I come out rosy cheeked %26amp; my skin feels as smooth as glass! It's awesome, I reccomend it! Take care!
That's the one I used for a while. I found that it's pretty rough on my skin, but I have pretty sensitive skin. I only use it about once a week now, purely as an exfoliant.
Instead I put honey on my face to get rid of the blackheads. Just warm up a tablespoon or so of honey in the microwave (only about ten seconds, honey gets VERY HOT and can cause serious burns), and then smear it onto the problem areas. Leave for about ten minutes and then rinse off. The honey would have sucked the dirt out of your pores. If you have oily skin, you can also mix in some oatmeal in with the honey, and if you have dry skin, you can mix in a banana or an avocado.
Edit: I use phisoderm face wash for washing my face in the morning and at night. It's pretty good for keeping my face clean in the winter, but during the summer I sweat a lot more, so the blackheads keep coming back.
Edit 2: *lmao* Yes, the honey thing is true. I do it whenever I notice blackheads showing up. Did it work for you?cleansing products

Even after spending a lot of money on facials n such stuff I got blackheads on my nose very fast. What do i do?
Keep the face clean. Steam it and scrub little with soap and water. Then apply an oatmeal paste.
Boil some oatmeal in a little water. Cool it and add some lemon juice and mix it well. Apply on the face.
Make a lotion with equal parts of lime juice, almond oil and glycerine and apply on the face. It not only cures blackheads but the discolouring spots on the face too.
Beat an egg white stiff. Add 1 tsp honey and with a cotton swab apply on the face and leave for half an hour. Rinse with warm water and pat it dry.Even after spending a lot of money on facials n such stuff I got blackheads on my nose very fast. What do i do?
the balckheads will always come back.... they are a build up of oil which your skin naturally produces combined with the dirt floating around in the air... you need to contanstly remove them.. the strips are the easiest way at home to remove blackheads...Even after spending a lot of money on facials n such stuff I got blackheads on my nose very fast. What do i do?
u should get rid of those small holes in ur skin pores ... blackheads are dirt that enter ur tiny holes in ur skin pores n when they are full it gets black because they need some attention to be removed
yes ... its true ..all the answers that have been mentioned are quick fixes...but after you do that...again i can not stress enough... you need a daily cleansing routine...it is so inexpensive to get this started ...walmart is the best...with a wide selection of products to choose from...once you use a quick fix... the next step is to prevent it all from happening.
Try Neutrogena - blackhead scrub, once a day, and also use the nose strips.
