i look after my skin well, i wash my face twice a day and moisturize wice a day and i put spot cream on my breakouts, and i exfoloate 3 times a week. i broguth some neutrogena spot lotion the other day as my forehead is covered with spots, i think acne as they arent black or white heads, the lotion helped them fade, but then they came back 5/10 minutes later, my mum went and got me some samples which did the same, like witch neutrgogena clearasil tzone and boots clean and clear, none really helped. i dont have a fringe , so that isnt the answer.
so my questions are;
what are my spots?
do you reccomend any good and cheap acne cream?
is my skin rochime ok?
thanks so much in advance, 10points best answer.Im 13, loads of spots on forehead, not blackheads or whiteheads, so must be acne? help!?
if your spots are reddish in colour and are mostly in groups then yes, it is probably acne.
The skin has thousands of tiny hair follicles. Each has a sebaceous gland that produces an oily substance, sebum. An unusual reaction of the sebaceous glands in the skin to the male hormone testosterone (which girls also carry) causes them to make more sebum.
so when too much sebum is made, the pores are blocked and spots form.
Common triggers of acne include:
--Exams, new relationships and other forms of stress
--The time just before a period starts
--Pregnancy
--Certain cosmetics and medicines
sometimes the chemicals in these so called 'overnight acne treatments' make matters worse and upset the chemical balance of your skin and the bacteria on them.
As for your regime, it sounds pretty okay. its is good to moisturise, even if you have spots, because some of the products you use on your skin can dry them out really badly.
as for what i recommend, i had spots at 13 and i went to the doctors who prescribed me antibiotics which i took in liquid form and after a month all my acne was cleared up. but definitely go to your doctor and see what they say because 9/10 times the doctors are the ones who can help you clear up your acne for good.
hope that helped : )Im 13, loads of spots on forehead, not blackheads or whiteheads, so must be acne? help!?
Molly A !
Apply the paste made of nutmeg (Jaiphal) and raw milk on acne and wash it off after 20 minutes. Do it for about 10-12 days and see the magical effects.

Im just about your age and I have that problem too. Everyone that I have asked has told me that the best thing that they have done is to just not touch your face and I have proactive. I dont have my face covered but everytime a pimple goes away here comes some more. I hate them too. But like I said if you do touch your face make sure your hands are clean.
hi, I suffer from spots too! but I know this girl who had really bad skin and she drank loads of water for 2 weeks cuz she was in this work experience place where there were loads of chemicals around. after that , she had the clearest skin ever!
Im trying it and it really does help.
i'd go to the dermatologist. start taking a daily vitamin and fish oil, that helps with your skin. maybe your acne is going beneith the surface and that means that the over the counter products will not help your acne, which is why i said to go to the dermatologist. hope it works out for you :)
Giving your face a rest from all that scrubbing may be the answer you're stripping away the natural oils in your skin which protect it from infection every time you wash.
Hormones also play their part as you are reaching puberty.
go to the doctors and ask for zinc (full name zinceret) its brill. you cannot buy this over the counter so a doctors appointment would have to be made!
The fact is, Acne is not connected with washing regime or diet - it really is connected to hormones, stress, age and the composition of the skin.
More than likely, it will pass, but I remember it is damn unpleasant to go through. The best thing you can do is go to a doctor, who will likely administer some antibiotics or a medicated wash. He may also refer you to a dermatologist.
WHATEVER YOU DO - do not squeeze/pick etc., you will risk scarring which is permanent - you may only be an acne sufferer for a few weeks or months but the scars will never go.
All you can really do is simple things like consume a healthy amount of water, excercise regularly (though initial sweating may cause a temporary flare-up) to try to flush out the pores, and avoid greasy lotions and washes. Keep the washing to twice a day, as normal because aggressive cleaning can also make the condition worse.
As a former sufferer, I wish you luck. Be patient - at 13 it is like the end of the world and is hugely embarrasing in front of the opposite sex but when you are 19, 20, 21 and beyond, you will have the last laugh.
As for recommending a wash, in the UK, the St. Ives rnage of cleansers are ideal, at 拢3.99 a pop. If your acne is severe I would avoid scrubs.
Consult a doctor at the earliest opportunity.
Hey. Well first of all spots are part of teenage life, no matter if its just a few spots or acne. Your doctor might be able to help by giving you some proper acne cream or some tablets, however, this wont get rid of them but will help them. You could try Freederm which has anti-inflamitary and nicotinamide which no other creams has in. The spots you have are just your skin, you cant really stop these. They will go away when they are good and ready. I know its horrible because I used to get them as well but what can we do? The doctor will just advise you and give the best creams and tablets he can prescribe. DONT pick and play with them as you might cause scars.
