Best way to get rid of blackheads?

I went 2 Wendy's on Sunday and got a large chocolate Frosty Shake (i have a KILLER sweet tooth).

On Monday as I was washing my face, I noticed that I had a whole bunch of blackheads on the sides and some in the front of my nose. So I don't know which product to use against that. Can somebody help me out?

P.S : I dont use like lotion on my face because lotion makes my skin too oily and I don't like that. I have normal skin.Best way to get rid of blackheads?
If you want to get rid of blackheads, you first need to understand what causes them. Blackheads are caused when pores become clogged with excess oil; the black color is not caused by dirt, but rather by the oil oxidizing through contact with the air. Cleaning the surface of your skin will do little to get rid of blackheads, but there are other steps you can take.

The best way to get rid of blackheads is to prevent their appearance in the first place. There are many things you can do to prevent blackheads, such as:

* Avoid greased products, including oil-based makeup and overly thick creams.

* Don't use soap or other harsh cleansers on your face. Opt for cleaners that are pH balanced, and always choose something that does not contain oils.

* Exfoliate often using a product that contains beta hydroxy acids or alpha hydroxy acids, which can penetrate the skin and clear pores thoroughly. If you have oily skin, use a face mask at least once weekly to help you absorb excess oil.

* Review your medicine cabinet. Certain medications, such as birth control pills, can actually cause skin breakouts. To get rid of blackheads, discuss with your doctor about changing brands or chemical composition.

If you already have blackheads, there are also many things you can do to get rid of them:

* As tempting as it may be, avoid squeezing to get rid of blackheads. This can actually damage the skin and lead to scarring; it can also enlarge the pore and lead to more blackheads in the future.

* Use blackhead or pore strips for areas such as the nose and the chin. When applied correctly, these tape-like strips can get rid of blackheads quickly and effectively. Strips are not for everybody, as they only clear superficial impurities and cannot deal with excess oil that is deep inside the pores.

* Acne medication can also be effective to help you get rid of blackheads. For very serious cases, talk to your doctor about Accutane庐, a prescription-only product.Best way to get rid of blackheads?
I actually have a blackhead eliminating scrub that I use if i start to have problems. the wendy's shake on sunday really didnt have anything to do with the blackheads because a blackhead is actually a type of acne called an open comedo. they form when the sebaceous gland duct (secretes the oils to hair and part of the hair follicle) gets clogged with oil and becomes an infected *thing* and a blackhead is not from dirt, it gets its color from melanin which is your skins piment. dont scrub them though, be gentle. use the blackhead stuff and you can also use a pore strip...dont try to squeeze them because it pushes bacteria deeper into the duct. this is all i can think of right now
What does the Frosty's have to do with this ?

Good Lead in.

The best remedy is a hot compress - take a wash cloth, wet it, heat in micro without burning yourself.

Repeat.. gently take your nose and push it upwards and on the nose push your nostrils upward too.. wash with an acne wash

and apply a toner or something like a stridex pad.

You can repeat this process every month.

Also you can avoid black heads with washing your face twice a day, AM/PM and applying a toner. Witch hazel = ALBA makes a good one.

It helps balance your pores.
blackheads are from wiping skin that has dirt on it. the specs of dirt gets in to pours, and get trapped. scrub with soap and water.
well i use the wave!!! and i think it works really well. the first time i used it i had soft skin!!! hope this helps!!
