PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS . First of all, i wont tell you not to wear foundation, as that is not the reason you get them, it is mainly because we do not take follow these three simple steps, and ensure all the makeup and dirt is out of our pours!
CLEANSE (put on cotton wool and wipe your face)
TONE (put on cotton wool and wipe your face)
MOISTURISE (make sure your hands are clean)
you need to do this twice a day, before you go to bed, and when you wake up in the morning, please understand, that this is a prevent from you getting them again, as im going to tell you how to get rid of them!!!
Clearasil, and some other brands, sell blackhead strips,(super drug, boots) you put them on the area, leave them for a couple of minutes and then they come away with the strip, they only cost around three pounds, but once you have used this, to prevent them coming back you need to do those three things, plus you will notice the difference in the condition of your skin, it is brilliant!
to cleanse and tone, i use garnier cleanser and toner, to moisturise i find a none scented one is effective, i have been doing this for years, and my skin is flawless, and im not just boasting, i promise you, your skin will be fabulous in just a week if you follow this routine.
one more piece of advice, never use e45 cream on your face, it is oily and causes blackhead and spots. How do i get rid of blackheads?
1. run the water on completely hot in the sink, and trap it there.
2. get a washcloth and soak it in the hot water, and ring out.
3. dab at your face, even though its hot, and steam your face.
4. after this, wash with a face wash as directed.
- i do this every night, and it really helps. my face is completely clear :)
i have the same problem as you.
i usually pop them, then i use clearasil blackhead conrol (you shouldnt use it too often cause your face gets used to it.) than i use clearasil pads that help dry out the face.
hope i helped(:
goood luck.
um its called wash your face. duh
and that was mean what you said about that girl who thought she was fat.
not everybody can be a skinny b**** like you!
even if that is you.
your prolly like 500 pound
Use a blackhead scrub (both Clean %26amp; Clear have good ones) and try Biore's BlackHead/Pore Strips (which you can apply to your face, chin or forehead). These usually do the trick for me, good luck :)
Get st. ives for blackheads. Its like little beads that you scrub on your face. I have no blackheads after like a week of using this.
Well, you should start by washing your face daily. I suggest Clean and Clear, hopefully this will help.

BLACKHEAD PREVENTION
Avoid using creamy, greasy, and thick (emollient) products.
-This alone will greatly lessen your chances of sprouting blackheads. Use a gentle and water-soluble acne cleanser.
DO NOT use bar soap!!!
-The ingredients that hold soap in a bar form can clog the pores in your skin.
- If you have dry skin you will need to use a cleanser that has a bit of moisturizer in it, but be careful! The excess moisturizers can cause an increase in oil on your skin.
Exfoliate to eliminate dead skin cells.
BLACKHEAD REMOVAL
1. Use a mild scrub or skin exfoliant to remove any dead cells and expose the blackhead.
2. Pat your face dry.
3. Place a slightly warm compress on your face for approximately 10-15 minutes in order to soften the blackhead, making it easier to remove.
4. Pat your face dry again.
5. Place a piece of tissue on the tip of each finger to avoid slipping, which could tear the skin and cause further damage.
6. Gently apply even pressure to both sides of the blackhead by pushing down, then up around the blemish. You're trying to apply the pressure from *underneath* the blackhead.
Only attempt this once or twice. If it does not ';pop';, you may bruise the skin, make the blackhead worse, and could cause scarring.
PORE STRIPS: Using pore strips to remove blackheads is not recommended for many reasons:
-The warnings on the box tell you not to use them on swollen, irritated, sunburned skin; not to use them on excessively dry skin; and not to use them on any area other than the nose. Also, the warnings state that if the strip is too difficult to remove, you should add water and remove carefully.
-Removing the superficial blackheads, along with some healthy skin, will only help temporarily.
-Repeated use of pore strips can cause irritation and future breakouts.
-The adhesive on the strips can tear or injure the skin
Vacuum blackhead removers and blackhead extractors are not recommended for the same reasons as the pore strips. Because blacheads are caused by excessive oil production clogging the pores, the most effective way to get rid of blackheads is to control oil on the face by using mild cleansers and by balancing your hormones.
